Steamworks is a solid brewpub in a neighbourhood filled with overpriced entries. It has fairly standard pub food with a great selection of beers that have been staples in the Vancouver craft beer market for as long as any. I recommend the Pilsner, one of the best German/Czech pilsners I've had.

Little disappointed in this place. How does a brewery run out of their 3 most asked for beers?!? And on the weekend? Im sure they are normally really great but we came here for the beer and got told every beer we wanted they were out and have been for few days. . Every city I go to I need to find a good brewery and check out their tour plus the added bonus of the tastings.
Steamworks Brewing had fantastic reviews and it was about a 20 min walk from where we were staying (so convenient).
I called in a head of time to see if they were holding tours and fortunately they were and for only $12 with the flight of beer tasting.
