Same deal with the lobster bisque. We actually had to ask whether or not we had received the right soup. Get the clam chowder instead, believe me. Good food, great lobster. We had a little visit from a furry friend while eating, and made the staff aware of it. They said they would let the owner know. 3 stars due to the questionable sanitary conditions of the restaurant. The urinal stunk too.

Arrived in St Johns today on a Regent 7 Seas cruise. We went in search of oysters and right across from the cruise terminal was The Steamer Lobster company. We checked and they did indeed have oysters, PEI malpeque oysters, 6 for $13. Worked for me. I started in with oysters which were medium sized, plump, briny and tasty.
