This is a very beautiful Cathedral designed in 1892. Please take note of the three headstones on the corner to the left of the Cathedral entrance, especially the headstone for Bishop Charles John Seghers, who was murdered.
St. Andrew's Cathedral serves the diocese of Victoria. Built in the High Victorian Gothic style, St. Andrew's was Victoria's third cathedral to be built and was completed in 1892. Last restored in 1993, it is the oldest Roman Catholic church in the Victoria area and a National Historic Site since 1990.
