At one time they had good food, but not anymore.
Had the sea food, the fish was a little "too" fishy tasting to the point I was scared to eat it.
The bathroom was what you would expect at a truck stop for cleanliness.
I will not be going back there anytime soon.
The first and last time I've been to Springs was over lunch hour. We were seated immediately however our waitress didn't acknowledge us for about 15 minutes. By the time she came to us with menus it was 12:30, we ordered, and got our drinks 10 minutes later. Now, i'm going to guess that likely half the people in the place at the time were office employees, like myself who have only an hour lunch break. Needless to say, I left the restaurant, without my food. My friends at the table brought my sandwich to me at work at 1:30. And it wasn't even good at all! How do you screw up a BLT!
We arrived for lunch on a Saturday were seated and had our order taken within 10 minutes, then waited 45 minutes, during which another table within sight arrived had their order taken and were served their food. the waitress never came back to our table nor did any of the three other wait staff ask if we needed anything. After a further 10 minutes we left the restaurant and went to eat elsewhere.
We were taking a local cousin out for supper and ended up at the Springs. The decor is okay. There were more locals there, which is usually a good sign. We ordered three different dishes. this facility finally has some decent cooks, but the decor is disgusting and carpets are filthy and the chairs are falling apart, go here to meet family who have gone here for years, and always complain, yet nothing is done, even the old staff have given up complaining, a big dissapointment, in a town that is trying to grow
