Me and my family visit many farms throughout the summer for strawberry, apple, raspberry (you name it!) picking. Springridge Farm has a great play area for the kids. You pay a small $3 admission, and pony rides are $3 as well. I babysat my two 3-year old nephews who had a blast while the rest of the adults went strawberry picking for a few hours. The fields are good as well. The only concern I had was that the staff is a little more strict with the rules. You must stay in your designated picking area, and you can't walk to the field yourself; the tractor has to bring you. Overall, staff is very friendly. Great place for the kids. And they have a beautiful shop with antiques and home decor.
We saw this farm featured on a television program, decided to drive out and have a look. Lots of parking and places to eat outdoors. A wonderful bakery. We only tried the apple fritter, butter tart and strawberry tart but all were very tasty. They sell cold drinks and coffee, hot dogs and such ouitside.

We visited Springridge farm recently for the first time. We enjoyed the tractors for the kids to ride and the little jaunt up the hill to look out over Halton. I would have liked more of a petting zoo so that's the reason for it losing a star. We will return- the kids loved it!

Besides selling various other fruits this place... more
