Better than Starbucks and surprisingly good breakfast

Good coffee shop with plenty of seating and I was surprised at how good the breakfast was! We needed a quick place to grab breakfast before a day of sight seeing and I was skeptical, expecting a microwaved breakfast sandwich like you would get at Starbucks. I'm used to coffee shops (Starbucks) heating up premade frozen foods and serving them. However, Spot has an on-site grill where cooks prepare the food made to order. Don't go for breakfast if you're in a rush. They are really slow in the mornings. Also, they buy the cinnamon raisin bagels frozen and then to defrost them they put them in the toaster twice. This burns them. When we asked for new bagels the employee was angry.

Friendly staff, roasts their own beans, flavour like you find in no other coffee shop. I'd have to say that it is Toronto's best kept secret even though it has only been open a month.
