Fun even from the outside!
Killer displays! Even better than Holts at Christmas. Not to mention to music collection. Tons of selection! Plus you can trade!
The display windows say it all!
Sonic Boom always has really fun display windows. The inside is no different. Their vinyl and CD selection is superb! I love hearing the sound of the clicking CD's when I walk in. New, used, newly used...they gots it all!
Huge CD Store
This place rocks! They have huge bins of used cds to flip threw for a good price as well as new cd/dvd's and records. They are open until 11 most nights of the week and are open 364 days of the year! Plus if you need some extra cash you can selll your old cds here too. Second only to Holt and Renfrew, Sonic Boom would have to be my choice for best window displays in the city!

I love sonic boom they treat you like a customer. They are friendly and helpful if you need some help they are there to help you.I have not trouble with them.They are the best. This is the place for Vinyl records new and used. A massive selection of CDs of all music types and for collectibles.
They also offer headphones, record players, music books and T shirts
Really this is the place if you love music and avoid MP3 files.
There is nothing like listening to a CD on your home stereo system while perusing the included lyrics or booklet.

Love this place. Good, diverse vinyl selection with reasonable prices; more often than not, I find Sonic Boom's prices to be lower than other vinyl shops in Toronto. Lots of CDs, t-shirts, mags and even cassette tapes if that is your thing as well.
As for the big checked bag "controversy," I've never personally felt singled out (white male, early 30s) when I've gone in with a bag. I respect...
