Simply Be Careful...
Careful... there isn't a sales tag in the store. If the owner understands you have not done your homework on pricing, he will be sure to price an item high - and then "give you a deal" if it is questioned. I once paid $60 for a tub of high end shaving cream that I could have bought for $30 elsewhere. I'll never return!!
Disappointing at best.
My initial reaction with this store was positive. Some wonderful merchandise, and the owner was quite personable. I bought a pair of gloves, and was initially happy with them, but took them back because of some concerns with how easily they would start to peel (inside of four days of light wear to and from work, the leather on two fingers looked as though they'd been attacked by a cheesegrater).
The gentleman there took out his magnifying glass and rather rudely pointed out he'd 'sold thousands of these, and if it was a problem with the quality of the leather, he'd have heard'. Of course, no refund or exchange, and terrible customer service. Despite the fact that he does carry some quality items there, there are also some rather pricey clunkers which, coupled with his lack of customer service, means I would not go back, and certainly would not recommend this store.
