Visited on a lunch time for a birthday celebration. Our server was great fun and provided excellent attention and quality service (and some laughs). I've been here for business lunches many times over several years. Always consistently good Italian food, particularly pasta dishes. Good service, and recently redecorated to more modern decor. Great go-to place on west Jasper Ave. Perfect for business or pleasure.
The SPC has become a staple of southside Italian, and again delivered what has become expected. On the Sunday evening of a long weekend, five of us shared appetizers of lightly breaded calamari ($10.50) and mussels in a gorgonzola cream sauce ($15.99). Best Italian in the city by far! Penne alla Diavola is unbelievable and the coffees are to die for including the Tiramisu.... free on your bday! This place rocks!
