Typical Sleazeball Sales Tactics

I will never give Sherwood dodge my business again and I will never recommend them to anyone. I recently submitted an online trade-in appraisal to Sherwood Dodge. I gave them all the information for my 2009 Jeep 2dr, including the VIN. Was quoted a specific price range. When I made my way to the dealership, they wined and dined me in to a truck, but when it came time for my trade-in, they dropped they dropped the trade-in value of my Jeep by $3000. "Oops they said, that higher value was for a 4-door jeep. Not a 2-door." Just a ploy to get me in the door obviously... They continued to Jerk me around. Leaving to 'talk to the general sales mananger' sometimes leaving me alone for 45 minutes. Each time the salesman came back, he would say he "fought real hard for me, and got another $300 on the deal" Then assured me that was the best price possible. They also try to sell me an extended warranty (which I find out the next day the truck already had) I left, and came back the next day. Again, they jerked me around, leaving me alone in the salemans office, or out on the floor several times for 30+ minutes. Wouldn't bargain. Salesman whined and cried about their having such small margins they can't afford to give vehicles away blah blah blah...I then find out that the used Ram truck I wanted to buy had a fully transferable extended warranty, but they only brought it up to try and sweeten the deal. Only thing was there was less than a year left on it. Funny how they were willing to keep this to themselves the previous day and try and sell me warranty anyways. Scott Held from Sherwood Dodge has these horrible radio ads about how fair his dealership is. It is a complete lie. They use every car salesman trick in the book. I had originally purchased my Jeep at this same dealership when I was younger and in reviewing my purchase, I was definitely screwed over. Well fool me once, shame on me. But never again. I think I'll take my money to somewhere where they don't hire sleazeballs to make bunk deals to lure customers in.
