Overrated
Small portions, arrogant service. Once, our party got 'bumped' (our reservation was cancelled by them) because they got a reservation from a larger and more lucrative group (of physicians).

Simply wonderful
December 08, 2012My hubby spent a night to celebrate our anniversary. Upon our arrival we were welcomed in our beautiful room with champagne and chocolate covered strawberries...The room was the nicesest hotel room ive ever been in,well stocked and very very clean. We had a delicious supper in the quaint dining room and a perfect continental breakfast in the morning. Cant wait... more

The rooms have been carefully renovated, maintaining it's historic feel with all the modern requirements of a business or vacation traveller. So we're getting on the car Ferry tomorrow to Digby, NS. Wanted sometime better than staying in Big City St. John.
Andrew and the staff at this quiet retreat take VERY good people that discover this treat, and come back.
Dinner was wonderful! Breakfast is included.
Try it, yu won't be disappointed!
