We went to Seven Windows for my birthday because we had a gift certificate that was burning a hole in my pocket and it was a special occasion. Seven Windows is definitely the place to go for a special occasion. One only has to look inside to see that this is a classy, expensive restaurant. Still, don't be deterred if you want to check it out on a Monday night when you've got nothing in the fridge... not everything on the menu will empty your wallet. As expected from a restaurant so beautiful, the food was spectacular. I'll definitely be back for another visit.

I've dined at Gramercy Tavern, Eleven Madison Park, Perry St and hundreds of Michelin rated and 'Best' restaurants in New York, and I'm not sure why this restaurant gets a bad review sprinkled in every few months. If you're a foodie, you'll love this place. Recently I've been to both Scaramouche, Rosewater and Stock in Toronto and was not impressed... more
