My Mother passed away and was cremated last fall. We wanted her buried in her family plot this past June, along with my brother's ashes who had predeceased her by several years. Mom had very specific instructions as to what she wanted on her headstone. She loved dolls of all kinds and ran a doll museum for the last years of her life, and my brother was a musician. As per her request we had both a doll and a guitar engraved on the headstone with the words "Beloved Mother and Son". We included complete dates of birth and death for both and we were fortunate enough to be able to pick out a blue granite which was our Mother's favorite color. The results were absolutely beautiful and we couldn't have been happier. We know it's exactly what Mom would have wanted! All through this process Janice at Serenity in Granite was amazing. She was so supportive and caring and truly helped us in making choices during an emotionally charged time. We can't thank her enough. I would highly recommend Serenity in Granite and definitely rate them 5 out of 5 stars :)
