Better coffee than Starbucks

Love the atmosphere here!
It is great to get a seat in the front window and people watch.
I don't like the coffee at Starbucks - I think that when Second cup and Tim Horton's burn the beans, they send them to Starbucks!!!

Best white hot chocolate I have ever tasted

I do like chocolate, but I am not a chocoholic. When I went into the Second Cup I did not want a coffee so I tried their Hot White Chocolate. I was hooked.
They also have great tea. The first time I had their tea it was a raspberry decaf. It was out of this world.

After telling my kids for years how amazing the croissants were in Montreal (as compared to those in our home city of Seattle), we fell into this cafe with high hopes....and we left very disappointed.
Yes, the cafe was clean and the staff nice. And it's true, my cafe au lait was wonderful. But the croissants we got were stale: a little hard and chewy, totally NOT flaky at all. We get better...
