Schokolade’s pretty, richly flavoured chocolates are made in small batches by hand, with most ingredients sourced locally (the sea salt caramel—our favourite—is distinctly West Coast). Pre-bagged chocolate-dipped nuts and couverture hexagons make lovely hostess gifts. Chocolate-making workshops and children’s classes offered, too. Closed Sundays and Mondays.

Thank you again for the wonderful afternoon you gave our group. And having the talk from Edward was more than we could ask. The food and service was absolutely premier. I am still dreaming of the hot chocolate and can not wait for my next visit.

Team Tastic came here for a pre-dinner stop and I had the Squirrel Special ($3.85, 12oz). The name was cute and the chocolate was real. When this came out it was piping hot. I liked the rich creaminess and that it wasn't too watery. That being said, you have to really love chocolate to love this hot chocolate because it was very rich. Vancouver has everything. Cafes that specialize in hot chocolate?! A Hot Chocolate Festival? Well, my friend is a hot chocolate specialist so we went to check out Schokolade Cafe after a game of Frisbee golf (don't knock it till you try it!).
