It was my daughter's wedding and granted we were a little late for our 10:00am appoitnment, but we offered to forgo some of our services. No. no . they said. The receptionist was the one who was so rude as well as a few other members of the team. I am not saying everyone, becasue of course there are always ones that stand out, and I believe there were a few stylists that were very good. The point is when you are in customer service don't make the customer right off the hop feel like they should not be there. One of my step daughter's was getting her hair done and that stylist was yelling at the other stylist beside her as to when she was going to be done with the flat iron, I beleive! Very unprofessional!
Yes, they did offer beverages, which was quite nice, but I go to any salon where I am from east of Toronto and get offered a beverage, so that is somewhat expected. Now, the exit, again, vital to how you keep a customer, in my opinion they did not care to much becasue they knew we were from out of town...unacceptable in my eyes for the service industry! The receptionist again was checking us out and I asked for a detailed copy of my bill, so in otherwards a printout, she said she could not provide that for me. I was paying for 2 and some of the other girls got make-up and hair done, which was a total of $100 minus a $35 deposit + 15% tax and their bill came to $80, well I could not figure out why mine was $181.46 then I added tip on to that amount, she just kept telling me over and over again, it is $65 for hair and $35 for make-up and %15 tax, so I walked away as she was patronizing enough. As if that was not enough my grandaughter , who is 4 was counting the nail polish on the stand beside the reception desk and one dropped...oh yes, that was not good in their salon. She spoke to the staff as if they were stupid..use paper towels not the cloths, just not a very good feeling just before my daughter getting married! Yes, we also paid the $10 for the nail polish, even though it seemed that I was over charged for my services but no one could give me a reciept to explain WHY!!!!!!
