High above West Vancouver, the Salmon House offers a spectacular view of the city and Burrard Inlet. An alder wood-fired grill dominates the kitchen, lending a delicious flavor to many of the dishes. Try the "Uniquely B.C." menu, a 3-course meal prepared with ingredients from British Columbia's different regions. You might start with gin-infused sockeye salmon gravlax tartare, go on to... more

For $29.95, this was a really great value and service was better than our last experience here.

Only go here if you are over the age of 75. Even though the view is lovely, the decor is old school and the clientele are older. Prices are way too high and when my fish trio was cold, the waitress argued with me about it! The cheese plate was pathetic. Dry old cheese; very unappetizing. Save the expensive cab fare and go elsewhere.

Spooky ambience, but I guess the very low lighting makes it a good place to go with a date if you have a blemish on your face. Soup is quite bad.
