Salad King has been proudly serving Ryerson and the downtown Toronto neighbourhood for the past 20 years. Our Thai food is delicious and affordable, made with quality, homemade ingredients.

Salad King is certainly NOT the best kept secret in town. Most Thai food lovers, especially the young and hip, all know about this HOT, HOT, Hot place, conveniently located, close to Yonge and Dundas, near the Eaton Centre!

How spicy can you handle?

If you need to prove you're a big man, they will make it as spicy as you desire. Be careful what you ask for though. If you find yourself gasping for your senses, you have only yourself to blame. Provided you manage to request your ideal balance, the food is delicious and as authentic as can be expected.

Some great Thai food on Yonge st. I also love the chili system of choosing how spicy you want your food, on a scale of 1 - 20!

Disappointed.

Two of us were at Salad King, for the first time after if has opened in its new location. Whilst the food was fresh, the Panag curry was watery. The beef quantity stingy and the phud thai was sickeningly sweet (tasted more like a dessert). I would much rather pay a couple of bucks more for a main course and eat great food at Khao San Road in the entertainment district at Adelaide and Peter.... more
