Enjoy aged Prime steak, broiled at 1800 F and served sizzling. Come in soon..and come hungry, darling!
I heard fantastic things about this place so that's why it was especially disappointing. The steak was okay so I don't see why this place gets rave reviews. Lukewarm service. Perhaps the better steaks and service are reserved for the patrions dressed in suits rather than casually dressed as we were.

If ever there is a dish that tasted like meat, it is the Grilled Portobello Mushroom.
I love Ruth's Chris. The food, The service, The decor. I love it. I've been there a bunch of times now, and it's always consistent.
Food Quality: The food is always wonderful here, whether it be steak, or seafood (or anything else on the menu I'm sure). I've tried both steak and seafood dishes. One thing worth mentioning though, is the price. Ruth's Chris is awfully expensive, and best saved...

Steak that comes broiling with butter on a lava hot plate! Need I say more? It's a rare treat (because of the cost) but a terrific one. Enjoy!
I have eaten here maybe a half dozen times with the hope that the next time would be better.....unfortunately never happens. Don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad, it just isn't great and at these prices it should be. The service is top notch but the steaks are not. With a whole lot to live up to, this restaurant failed in my eyes (and mouth). Steaks starting at $40 each, I was hoping that these forkfuls of beef would just melt or explode in my mouth with heavenly flavour. Didn't happen. It was an excellent quality cut of meat, but that was it. Maybe I'm not a steak connaisseur, but I was hoping for more flavour for that much money. We ordered the... more

Another successful American transplant, this beloved chain of steakhouses delivers on its promise as "Home of Serious Steaks." Steaks are famous for their sizzle, achieved by a dollop of butter. Not the place to come if you are on a diet. Steak lovers will leave satisfied. Ruth's Chris is also known for great service, an extensive wine list, and an atmosphere of comfortable elegance.©10Best.com
When Ruth Fertel mortgaged her home in 1965 to buy the 'best little steakhouse in New Orleans' and added her name to the original Chris, nobody could have envisioned some 66 locations North America-wide. Toronto's version, Ruth's Chris Steak House, offers a gentlemen's club atmosphere with seating for 200 divided into five separate clubrooms, including cigar and wine lounges. Steaks on offer... more
