“The fire alarm night”

The fire alarm had be activated at 5am. Had to evacuate the building, lots of confussion to what was going on. The front desk made an annoucement but took awhile to let everyone know there wasn't a fire in the building. The Alarm took 20 mins to reset even though the fire department had already arrived.

“Showing age, but a very nice, comfortable stay!!”

The hotel was nice, and pretty clean. You can tell the hotel is old as the doors and ceilings in the room had paint chipping off, and the bathroom vanity/bathtub was old and should be updated. But other than it showing it's age, it was comfortable and everything that we needed. I was very happy when we arrived as when I booked, they only had a room with 2 double beds, but we got in the room and it had a king size bed. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. We were heading downtown Toronto for the day and the bus picked us up across the street and took us to the subway, so it was very convenient.

Un-Quality Suites

From the beginning, May 18/19...I'm flying in to Toronto and chose my hotel because of the free airport shuttle. I had great timing for the shuttle bus, I walked outside and the driver pulled up. The driver was very helpful and friendly, helped with my bags getting on and off the bus. Checking in was easy as well due to...

“good but no where to park.”

The room was all booked up and we had to get a smoking room, which we weren't a fan of. But if we were smokers we would of loved it even more. The room was a great size and very nicely up to date. The only thing that was a damper was parking. There wasn't enough parking for everyone and some ended up parking on the driveway into the parking garage.

“Prompt shuttle, close to airport, good bed”

I stayed at this hotel at the beginning and end of my trip to bridge between flights that arrived late and departed early, so only had the room from about 23:00 to 06:00. The bed was excellent. The shuttle runs every half hour, is prompt and it's a short ride to the airport.

A great hotel near the Airport and really good value too

I booked a Suite for a week and I couldn't fault it, it was spacious and the Freeways are not far for a drive into the Airport, its good if you have transport and there are plenty of places to eat nearby with The Keg over the road and a nice friendly Restaurant on site too with a bar showing...

3 Day stay for Business

We stayed at the Quality Suites for 3 nights four days in April 2013. Was thrilled with the Accomodations and Price. Very good location for attending the conference we were in town for. Staff were wonderful. Restaurant was great. The spacious rooms for a three night stay made us feel like we were at home. We will be back!!!

Excellent value

Stayed at Quality Suites for the first time and it exceeded our expectations. It was such good value and there was plenty of car parking. The room with the sitting room and dining area was just brilliant. We have recommended the hotel to friends and will definitely stay there again. The rooms and bathroom were extremely clean which is always...

Horrible service

OK, so we stayed here for 3 nights and the room was relatively OK to sleep, but nothing else. The service at this hotel sucks. We had 6 pieces of luggage and I asked the reception to send these up. The guy mentioned they don’t have a bellboy; instead he pointed out the cart and asked me to do it...

Beautiful Rooms

For a Hotel that I would consider mostly used for an overnight near the airport, I was pleasantly surprised by the rooms size and comfort. I really felt I got my monies worth from this well appointed room. It had a living space and a bedroom space and of course a bathroom area, and also had a little kitchenette of...

“Good value for money only when on sale!”

Good value for money, when on discount or special sale. I won't recommend it at its regular price, other alternatives in the area would definitely be better.

“Meh”

I feel very strongly about customer service. It can either make or break my opinion in regard to the specific hotel in question. The customer service/ front desk staff/ manager was absolutely dreadful and that ruined my entire experience. A simple smile or a greeting is enough to win me but I received not even that. Very horribly disappointed. If you're looking for the material experience however, the rooms were quite alright.

“Suite Concept Great. Room Carpets Need Changing”

The suite concept is great - two rooms make it nice and roomy. The beds and bathroom was clean but carpets are HORRIBLE - stained and dirty and really grimy especially in the corners. Need a serious cleaning. No smiles from any staff at desk.

“Never again!”

Disgusting hotel. It looked more like a run-down motel than anything else. I paid way more than what it was worth. I would recommend courtyard by marriot over quality inn any day. We had a room for 5, but they only gave free breakfast for two. How does that make any sense?! The room was boring and smelled bad. The bathroom was dreadful. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

“Very dated Room and Hotel!”

Rooms were very dated. Shower head and faucet needed maintenance. Hotel felt like it needed more upkeep. There were old pizza boxes and trash in the hallway on floor 2.
Overall quite disappointed with this hotel. Don't know how it got such a high rating on Expedia!
