It is a good 45 minute walk. However, you will see a lot more by walking than by taking a cab. The Radisson is a further 15 minutes walk up on the hill from the falls. The checkin time is 4pm but unfortunately our room was not ready. Maybe because it was the peak season in August; so we went for a stroll around and returned by 5pm and still the room was not ready. The hotel Manager was very apologetic... http://www.weblocal.ca/radisson-hotel-suites-fallsview-niagara-falls-on.html I've stayed in a lot of Radisson properties and have given seminars at several of their locations around the world - Cairns Australia - to London Ontario more recently - and my expectations when I booked this overnight Jan 2 - while travelling to Baltimore to cruise on the Carnival Pride - was to gift to my mother, a night in Niagara Falls - as this 91 year old remembered her Honeymoon in October 1946 - It wasn't a complete disaster, but I did feel like the connection between this booking secured with my credit card, and what was delivered relative to additional parking charges (previously undisclosed) to a Room that didn't have their famous sleep number system - was a let down. I would compliment the Valet Parking staff - as all the other parking was full - and the bell hops, when arriving and leaving, did a great job. Stay here again? Our room had a large flat screen TV and was extremely clean and comfortable. There was an Outback and a TGI Fridays right outside the hotel and many other restaurants within a couple of blocks. To get down to the falls, simply go across the street and take the incline railway that is located behind the Marriot. So luxurious our sleep number bed, our double jaccuzi so relaxing, even a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We have already recommended this to friends & family, walking distance to falls, shops, retaurants and the most beautiful view of the falls and U.S.A. casino lights. Even the shampoo, soaps, creams were spa-like. We hope to go back in summer and get a similar room. The rooms were clean, updated and furnished well. Both rooms came with a iHome clock radio which we used to charge our phones and to play music. The beds were sleep number beds and I think that we had a better nights sleep here than at home. The hotel staff were great we needed to stay and extra night for circumstances out of their and our control and they helped us get another room and everything went seamlessly. They were very helpful telling us where things were and what attractions to see and what attractions to avoid. In walking distance to all the Fallsview area and even Clifton Hill. Right by the tram down to the falls.Pool could have used a hot tub, but room did have a jacuzzi to make up for it and we were out seeing sights too much to care anyways. We stayed in a fallsview suite with a king size sleep number bed and a jetted tub. The view was gorgeous, the bed was extremely comfortable and adjustable, and the tub was worth the extra money for sure. Staff there were very friendly and nice, room was kept clean, nothing bad to say about this hotel. When we got there, everything was much better than I expected. The front desk staff was very friendly and courteous, allowed us to check in early and check out late. The room was nicely decorated and clean and comfortable. It was also extremely quiet! I definitely would not hesitate to got back!
