a nice location
When invited to this restaurant last week, I found myself very surprised by the taste of the food here. the rice is so strange but very good. It took an interesting time to get used to the wood sticks. It is of much fun. I am going to be back there tomorrow!
Great Menu
The choices on this menu will please a wide range of palates from those with a more conservative taste to those who enjoy exotic spices and uncommon fare. During my last visit I was accompanied by a number of south Asian friends who guided me on a novel gastronomic tour. Staff was helpful and the meal unfolded at a pleasant pace.
Located near the Market area of Ottawa, this is an excellent spot for tourists who can walk to a variety of downtown attractions.

Good value
August 04, 2014Food is average but a few thinks are excellent. Spring rolls are good (they always are) and pad Thai is great. Good value and service is efficient. Well located and open more ours than thee places around this are which is good for Sunday night.

Very nice Thai food

My wife and I have been to this restaurant regularly. Since the restaurant merged with Palais Imperial, the quality of food diminished. There are now a lot of table in this vast restaurant. Some tour buses bring their groups so you may see a lot of tourists.

There was nothing special about the ambiance, with the exception of their wall of prime minister photographs at the back. As far as service, I felt like we were being ignored for the majority of our time there, with the exception of being seated and when we ordered. I'm sad to say this because I actually liked the food but after having been to this place twice and getting sick both times, I would recommend avoiding unless you enjoy indeigestions.

The Thai food at this restaurant is the best in Ottawa. The service and ambiance aren't always the best but if you want the best food this is the place for you.
