Not the best food, but the ambience has a lot to offer
A big restaurant that can handle any size party, weekday or weekend, it has good quality Indian food. Sure, there may be better downtown, but there is nothing wrong with what this place offers. Their noon hour buffet may not be spectacular, but is very solid.
Second best at least for noonhour buffet
Very spacious and great ambience East Indian noon hour buffet. The only rival is Glory of India (and Glory might edge this place on quality of food, but not on ambience). Great place for business luncheons and celebrations. Staff is very good.

Don't be fooled by nice decor
November 25, 2011We went to the restaurant in a Sun. evening which I later learnd from an Indian friend of mine that was the first mistake! You never go to East Indian restaurants in a Sun. evening because what basically you see there is the leftovers of the last two days. None of the cooks in Sun.! Great food for great price
May 01, 2011Royal India is the second Indian restaurant I've been to in my life, though to enjoy it at its peak I'll have to learn to eat my vegetables.
