Details the ancient history of the people of British Columbia, cultures, flora and fauna.
Huge number of exhibits, with a lot of variety. The replicas have been created in vivid detail, never seen such detailing done so beautifully in any other museum.

I spent the afternoon here on Tuesday. They were highlighting a wildlife photography display. I was totally blown away by this display. The photographs were of course incredible, but the method of display added so much to the exhibit. I learned a lot from the different exhibits about Vancouver Island and British Columbia. Another highlight for me was a very well done exhibit on climate change... more

Really neat museum. Different exhibits, interesting interactive presentations, and helpful and informative staff. All of the gallerys were very well themed. (For example in the BC maritime exhibit they've installed a replica of a ship from that time period that you can walk through, a gold panning station in the exhibit of the history of the gold rush in BC, etc.)
