old, charming and wonderful productions

loved seeing Les Miserables, Buddy and The Jolson Story here - love the old british theatre feel

The 1,495-seat Royal Alex is a magnificent spectacle, never mind the show! Constructed in 1907, it owes its current health to discount-store czar and impresario Ed Mirvish, who refurbished it (as well as the surrounding area) in the 1960s.
