“Pleasant surprise

I must admit that I wasn't expecting as pleasant of a stay as my son and I had. The location is excellent, with two shopping malls adjacent. There is also a Boston Pizza and Starbucks less than a five minute walk away. The room itself was also a very pleasant surprise. It was very clean and well maintained. “Hotel sure needs some refurbishing...

The hotel is way outside of town (it was my only choice as convention hotels were full). The outside of the hotel looked OK, but the room was VERY spartan and the carpet hadn't been cleaned ever (or certainly in the last decade). Low priced 'drinks for two 'coupons enticed you to go next door to the casino, but it wasn't two free drinks, it was only one if you were alone... more

Hotel is located near a shopping mall with a lot of amenities nearby. The lobby was clean with a sitting area for comfort if you have to wait. Check in was fast with reservations made in advance. There are 5 floors to this hotel. The rooms were clean and a good size.
