Great new bookstore in Barrie! Highly recommended!
My visit to Rivendell Books was fantastic! It has a great atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff. I especially liked the author signatures and photos on the wall - I could spend hours browsing here! The selection of books is great and really well organized. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be a regular customer!

Rivendell books is one of my favourite places to shop. Great selection and fantastic service!! The owners are very knowledgeable and if they don't have the book you want, they can order it for you or take your name and keep an eye out for it. Prices are very reasonable (including a $2 Bargain Bin!). I could spent a whole afternoon browsing through the nooks of this lovely store. Highly... more

I would recommend Rivendell books to anyone who loves books. A wonderful selection of new and old books and everything is so well organized (and well priced!)! My kids love visiting the kids section, my husband is very happy with the titles available in science-fiction and I find everything I need in romance, paranormal romance and "chick-lit".
