"Fresh ingredients beautifully and creatively prepared" make for "delicious" Pacific Northwest dishes that "never disappoint" at this pricey creekside seafooder that's voted No. 1 for Food in Whistler; factor in "gracious" service and a cosy space with "real character", and it's no wonder "locals" deem it an "all-time favourite."

Manager-owner Bob Dawson and chef-owner Rolf Gunther ensure all runs smoothly. Don't miss the selection of oysters, raw with champagne vinaigrette, baked Rockefeller-style, or broiled with a spicy salsa. For an entrée try the excellent Rim Rock Trio of halibut, ahi tuna, and prawns; meat lovers are well taken care of with the mixed grill often featuring lamb, beef tenderloin, and venison. Incredible meal. Best restaurant and meal in Whistler.

We started with the mushroom salad. Very unique and tasty. Then mussels in a wine sauce with smoked salmon and cream = amazing.

I had the calamari appetizer as my entree and it was grilled and seasoned to perfection. My husband had the halibut with porcini mushroom rub on top of risotto and loved his as I much as I did mine.

And this... more

This place is rightly described as the best place to go for fish and game in Whistler. In fact, it is one of the best places I've been to anywhere. They were doing a "prix fixe" menu when we dined there, and so we were edfectively forced to have two starters and then a main course and dessert, as this made economic sense. It also turned out to make gastronomic sense as the food was excellent -... more

We loved this place. It is a charming, romantic restaurant. We ordered the four course dinner for $49. I got the Caesar salad and that was incredible. My husband got the salt & pepper calamari with hummus. His calamari was pretty good. The second course was pan seared scallop with pork belly and that was an incredible appetizer. My husband had a warm mushroom salad that was very flavorful. My... more
