Friendly helpful staff. The room was clean, roomy and comfortable. WIFI has been upgraded and is first rate, especially for the location.
Good restaurants within walking distance but the location next to the Inn has changed hands and is having service problems although the scenery is spectacular from the patio as well as from inside. Great place for drinks.

It looks like The Ridgeview has undergone some renovations since I stayed there in 2011. I have a memory from then of a slightly down-at-heels motel in need of some TLC.
However, in my stay last night I found a freshly reprinted exterior, very clean, quiet and comfortable rooms and the view from the bedroom in the morning was spectacular.... more

Some other reviews mentioned the it "needs updating". Well that appears to be in progress. Although there was some noise from the roofers it wasn't enough to bother us and they quit in the early evening.
