Good sushi, great cheesecake, the service is always interesting but efficient. Usually never a long wait if at all for a table, lots of choice.
Nice place for AYCE sushi restaurant, plenty of seats and parking spots. Food is worth the prize, good quality and decent size of food. Would definitely recommend. It's a pity that we don't have many choices for Japanese food in Guelph.
Food was excellent. I am always amazed at how unfriendly and rude the servers are. Last night they were at their best. Not a smile or eye contact from a single one of them. We had a dirty glass with a hair in it. The server had to examine the glass at length. We ordered a dessert and literally had it thrown on our table. We did observe that tables on either side were surrounded by Asian... more
Always a good meal. Servers often have no interest in talking at all (which is fine by me). Ordering on the tablet is convenient but sometimes certain items never arrive or a random food will be placed on our table (usually when they are busy, which is understandable). The cheese wontons are amazing, I also enjoy the eel pizza, spicy dragon roll, chicken skewers and many other things! Not a fan... more
Favorite sushi place in town. Go there often. Good price and clean atmosphere. Glad they have dim sum on the menu now as well.
Went to Ye's for my birthday. We just moved to Kitchener so we're trying to find a good sushi restaurant because it's my vice. My delicious delicious vice.
The good:
Looks nicer inside than the exterior of the building leads you to believe.
They are using the iPads to order which is pretty neat.
The food is.... Okay. I've had better sushi.
The bad:
The food was okay, not great. I don't...

My go-to sushi place, especially for lunch with friends, or, with kids who can try different items with each visit without spending a fortune. It's not over-the-top spectacular, but, you get what you pay for. Service is decent, no complaints. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Many great moments spent with friends and family.
Our favourite place to eat with the kids, love that you can order from a tablet and there are descriptions of everything
Great value for the price. I always feel like I get more than my money's worth. It's not perfect, some times you don't get items you order and so on. The service is subpar at best. But still, huge menu, recently updated with new items (the sesame and general tso's chicken is actually pretty good) and the foods is usually pretty good. It's my go to sushi place in kw/guelph.
Don't expect to be...

I was in the area and wanted to have Sushi for dinner, I normally go to Hockey Sushi in Guelph for sushi, but figured I'd try a new place with my friends this time.
Came here and I was definately impressed with the place itself, well appearance and comfortable seating here.
I've always been fascinated with ipad Ordering system, makes it much more convenient and I don't have to feel rushed...

Not my favourite place. Like Ye's Buffet, it takes the wait staff a while to get to your table. Now that they use iPads to order food it's very confusing at first, and it's easier to get carried away, but it works.
3.5 out of 5
had lunch today with the wife and it was a good experience. sushi was fresh and tempura items was nicely cooked. however, rice to fish ratio was not that great as it was more rice (typical of ayce sushi). the ipad menu was a nice touch.
service was fast. i got my sushi and rolls in less than 5 minutes after order is finalized by the waitress.. same with the kitchen items.

Came in for dinner on Tuesday with colleagues of mine. We made a reservation in advance, which was a good idea since the place was bustling by the time I arrived later.
I'm not a big fan of AYCE sushi places to be honest. I always end up leaving there feeling fat, bloated and guilty. Luckily I went for a run that morning which helped displace some of my fat guilt.
The service was mediocre -...

Great service always busy.
Get there early if you go for dinner on Tuesday.
Baked cheese mussels are amazing
Cheese wontons
Hand rolls mmmmmmm
By far, the best sushi in town! The food comes out and fresh every time. I like that they seat you right away and within 5 minutes of ordering, food starts to arrive. Oh and they have the best white tuna I've ever had.. Love this place!
Delicious, with lots of options.
Good service, Very reasonable and kid friendly!
LOVE the Beef short ribs and seaweed salad.
Went in here for dinner tonight. It's a nice looking place that offers only all you can eat options. I had a couple rolls and some sushi, it was all good enough, but nothing special. It felt like it was made quickly because of the 'all you can eat' aspect. I've been to all you can eat places that took the time to make interesting rolls with a bit more flavor. I ordered a spicy tuna that had no... more
Great sushi and service is quick as well. Our sales teams go to sushi spot in Cambridge usually for lunch but came for dinner this time. Get the crab pizza it's prime time!
love it here for lunch and dinner..
seaweed salad is so fresh and clean tasting, crystal shrimp dipped in spicy mayo available for dinner only are fantastic!
My wife and I had been meaning to try Ye's at Sportsworld Dr for a while now. This past Sunday, we had dinner before the Rangers game. The place was messy. There were pieces of paper, lettuce and other stuff all over the floor. After we had started eating our first round of items, my wife noticed a bowl with melted... more
Sashimi was good. rice on nigiri sushi taste like its been sitting on the counter for awhile. the baked mussel and crystal shrimp is a must try if you like mussel and shrimp.
I like the restaurants interior its calm and comfy but the music that was played was western music. it would be nice if its traditional japanese music....

It's average. If you're in the mood for sushi and are in the area it's worth swinging by.
Sashimi - sliced a bit thin for my liking.
Tempura was okay. M
Fried rice needed more flavour.
Maki and hand rolls were all good but nothing to write home about.
If you're a sushi fan you'll be disappointed - it's not great and not bad, but given the ambiance it'll leave you wanting.

Great sushimi. Loved both the red and white tuna. Careful what you order, some dishes are small, and some big and its not always obvious what's what.
Best in Kitchener - Waterloo. Highly recommend either eating in Downtown Kitchener or Deeridge locations. Find Northfield - North Waterloo a little loud!
The first time Ye's Sushi opened couple of years ago, we were amazed. But recently, when we went back to celebrate my husband's birthday, I would say that this place had deteriorated. The place was littered with small pieces of paper and serviettes, and servers didn't even bother to pick up and clean. Quality of food had gone down, it... more
The price is cheaper compare to any other all you can eat sushi around Kitchener and Cambridge.
The food is so average.
The service, good in some way, but when it comes to serving your food, they sometimes forget some of your order. Better check and order it again or wait, sometimes the food will come when you just about...

This restaurant is always busy. Obviously all the University students in the city know what a deal this is. It is a all in price in which you order small amounts of sushi, tempura, fried rice, noodle mixtures, skewers of meat and desserts. It would certainly have something for everyone. I'm not a big sushi person, my husband loves it.... more
I've been to many all you can eat sushi places and this one is "okay". The selection is pretty decent and the quality is good for the money that you pay. If you don't want all you can eat, they offer huge bento boxes for $10 which are a great value. The service has varied from terrible to very good,... more

I went to this location on a saturday night. It was REALLY busy (good for them) so it was hard to hear our friends but it was amazing food, good price for all you can eat.
My husband and I went to Ye's Sushi for lunch on Saturday. It was pretty packed and servers were busy.
We had all you can eat sushi. We were reminded of how bad of an idea it is to stuff our bellies with poor quality of food just for the sake of value.
The tempura batter was too thick, the...

Service was terrible - seemed none of the servers had any desire to be there (scowling and practically threw our dishes onto the table) However, sushi was good (not GREAT, but definitely good), and although not all dishes were received as ordered, they came out fairly quickly.
This location of Ye's opened up just before I moved away from the area. My brother introduced me to it as he has been a fan for years, having frequented the Waterloo location in years gone by. I was fairly new to sushi and found the quality of food here above average. The other bonus is that it is AYCE.
The decor of the restaurant is very nice and the staff is prompt, although, sometimes...

The SERVICE is okay. They were okay on refilling our drinks, nothing outstanding.
The FOOD is also okay. This place is a buffet!! So, if you want an AYCE sushi + miscellaneous, then this would be your place to go. The quality isn't EXCELLENT. While I can't comment too much on the freshness of teh sashimi, some of the rolls and such are pretty...
