I got pad thai and chicken curry, which were both delicious and came in convenient takeout boxes - good for eating in front of the TV with chopsticks. Decent pricing and if you get on their message list they sent you coupon codes for free spring rolls.
A friend and I have lunched at the Wok Box at Mayfield Common three times now. The veggies are fresh and not overcooked. There is a good selection of sauces and noodles. The large serving is large with a capital L. The staff are friendly and accommodating (happily left off the cilantro from the dish I ordered today - I... more
This is above average made-to order fast food. I first went to a Wok Box back in 2008 in BC, but most recently visited Wok Box in West Edmonton Mall after purchasing a groupon in Feb 2013. Not all locations seemed to have all menu items that are listed on their website. This was a bit disappointing. Still, I've had... more
Although the staff work hard, I must rate this restaurant as poor.
For two people we ordered three dishes, one rice, one noodle, one wonton soup which came to about $35.
Immediately upon seeing the "large" size, we wondered if perhaps half the food was yet to be deposited into the dish. Nope, very small servings, but it was just...

There have been many times we stopped by for takeout and when we got home the "main" menu item is tiny and 80% of the take out container is rice.
We mentioned this to the staff and were given a "No, this doesn't happen here". So, we stopped going.
Rice is not expensive and very easy to make, it could...

I went to the Mayfield Commons location while I was in Edmonton for Christmas the food was excellent and service was great atmosphire is also pretty good prices are pretty good all in all it is a good place to eat and I will go again when I am in Edmonton
I went to the location on 17 Street, it is very clean, the food was good, just found it to be expensive. They need to put some lower priced options on in the evening, not everyone wants to spend at least ten bucks just to try some thing.
Can you really have fresh food that was cooked in the morning then heated in glad wrap?
I am tired of restaurants saving time in cooking in the morning and glad wrapping it only to eat it up later.
It doesn't take long to cook fresh beef. I don't mind waiting 10 min for my food if it's fresh. Why...

mediocre noodle house, too expensive! wont be going back. ever.
Was visiting friends Alberta and in 4 days went to the Wok Box 3 times! The food is wonderfully fresh and there is plenty of choice for the vegetarian. If you are in Alberta, you have to go to a Wok Box... this is fast food at it's very best! If only Ontario could have a Wok Box too, it... more
Excellent food, extremely fast and friendly service, good prices,,,huge helpings.
You can choose from their menu or mix and match things and they create a stir fry for you. food is pretty good.
We bought a take-away dinner at the Wok Box on Whyte Ave. in February 2010. It was 6 pm on a Saturday evening and there was no one in there. After we ate dinner, it was obvious why. The food has really gone downhill. The Wok Box used to be a reasonable choice for fresh, made to order Asian stir... more
Greasy, soggy and a bare resemblance to what they say the dish should be.
Pretty decent Asian fast food.
Best fast-food stirfry around! And on request, they'll make it as spicy as you want.
