A pleasant stay in the Victoria room. Ideal for a single or a couple. A "homey" feel in a nice neighbourhood. It seems to attract a more mature type of guest. The veranda and back porch was comfortable to relax on and catch up on some emails and read. A decent kitchen if one wanted to prepare a meal. For my purposes, it fit the bill perfectly.

A Little Unorthodox

Only neded room for one night close to Vancouver General Hospital. It was clean quite was able to arrive late and leave early.

I have always been pleased during my stays at the Windsor Guest House. The breakfast is good and the staff are welcoming.

Staying at this guest house was an unpleasant experience right from the beginning.

We stayed at the Windsor House B&B for two night in Aug. 2009. The location is great right in the middle of a lovely neighborhood. The hot cooked breakfast was good too. What really makes this pace stand out is the value. We paid $95 for a three bed room right in high season. Highly recommend it.

I stayed at the BB for a family event. For the first night I stayed in one of the rooms on the lower level which is in reality a basement. In that room (Henry Room) the beds were so horrible that neither of us slept. The management responded to our complaint by saying that everyone has different preferences for beds.... more

A Great B&B in Downtown Vancouver

The Windsor Guest House is a lovely place to stay for very reasonable rates in downtown Vancouver. The house is charming and within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. They make a fabulous breakfast and I can't say enough good things about their french toast! I would definitely stay there again.

Problems and more problems

This place was not clean, there was mold growing on the shower wall, dirty hand prints on the walls and items and old food left from the last guests to stay in the room, the caretakers were nosey and pushy and someone's car was broken into while I was there. Should be avoided at all costs.
