We were impressed that someone greeted us when we came in and said who our waiter would be. The manager stopped by to see if everything was okay. Because I booked on line we got a small appetizer which was not expected. Only bad part was the noise level. It was very difficult to carry on a conversation due to the noise. This is a great choice when you are in the mood to dine outdoors. The patio is awesome - firepits if it gets chilly, umbrellas or sun depending on your preference. If it rains a bit - the umbrellas are a perfect shelter. The food is wonderful - many choices - all of them great - including some super desserts. We frequent Wildcraft quite often and we have always enjoyed our dining experience. Most recently we celebrated my Wife's Birthday. We ordered steak and a fish dish both were prepared to perfection. We chose this restaurant for brunch on Mothers day. There were 4 of us including my 98 year old mother. We were very pleased with the service and the food was great. We had intended to go to a different restaurant but it was closed. Although we did not have a reservation one quickly became available and we were seated in 5 minutes. Went after Waterloo U graduation. Place was too loud for comfortable conversation and the waitresses liked to flaunt their little bodies in the guys' faces. But despite that we had a nice time and enjoyed the food. A bit pricey for what you get.

Want to have a romantic dinner or just go to a place that really takes pride in its service and menu? This is the place. A bit proicey but that goes hand in hand with this type of establishment. I always walk out happy and satiated. Wildcraft=Wildfun!

I ate the beef shank, it was very tasty and well made. Service was good, the lighting was very dark where we sat and could barely read the menu.

Wildcraft is a decent restaurant. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. The food isn't totally upscale, but it's nice for a first date or dinner with parents. If you want a good meal, I'd say that it's worth the money to go to the Charcoal group's more upscale Bauer Kitchen.

It was really nice. Biggest complaints were that the staff was nearly *too* attentive, and it felt like they wanted us to move on. Also the noise level was a little high. Food was great though. Nice atmosphere.

Came here to celebrate my father's birthday. Wildcraft has a reputation for being one of the "nice places" to go to in Waterloo for such occasions.

We were very impressed with the decor, service, and food! I would compare this place to The Keg although the menu was a little less `steakhousey`. I wish someone would build one of these in Edmonton!

its not the fanciest, but it is definitely the “coolest” and it deserves its title. The food is refreshing, the menu is kept fresh, they even have brunch on weekends.. And to anchor it all they have a massive bar in the middle of the lounge supported by a good drink list

Definitely worth checking out, if only to see the washrooms!

The atmosphere is amazing, the wine tower in the middle of the restaurant really creates a great environment.
