Great studio. Everyone is nice, instructors are great. Some really nice little perks, like ice for your water and cold eucalyptus towels at the end of class. It can get a little cramped in the change room during the busiest classes, but otherwise, no complaints! Passed are a little pricier than some studies I've seen, but there's often a good promo on.

Westcoast Yoga is the hottest studio! The class range is also great - classic 90 minute classes, power 60 minute classes, yin, hatha, Pilates and more. I thoroughly enjoy it and am happy to say I'm a regular. The instructors are great and provide excellent modifications for beginners or hard core yogis.

I've been coming to WCHY for a while, mainly because it's near my office and classes are at convenient times for my schedule.

Positives:
- Great, knowledgeable teachers
- Friendly staff

Negatives:
- Wish the cleanliness was better, especially wiping the floors in between classes
- The temperatures are unpredictable, sometimes it's way too hot and sometimes it's not hot at all

I have been practicing various types of hot yoga for about 7 years. I find the studio temperature to be too hot to be able to do the poses for the duration of the class. After trying Bikram's WCHY is a breathe of fresh air. Super friendly Tracy will greet you by name. Instructors and classes are varied. The facilities are clean and pleasing.

Been going for almost a year and I really like how each instructor has their own style. It makes it really easy to mix things up and keep it fresh.

I just started doing hot yoga here and have to say their staff is awesome, the place is super clean, the studio is big and nice, and for those like me who prefer the place to look good and have a nice decoration it got all of it!

not a big fan of the hot yoga, l almost passed out on my free trial class, l couldn't leave the room and the teacher asked me to lay down, l think it was very stupid, also l heard there's been couple incidents in the yaletown location, receptionist allow non members to use the washroom and they steal iphones, and belongings from people attending the classes, there's no lockers!!

I've been a regular at WCHY for just over a year, and I couldn't be happier.

They recently did a whole swack of renos, previous to which I was reeeeeaaaally considering changing studios. They now have new floors in the studio, a ton of free lockers, and a nice loungey tea area in the front. Yay!

I've been coming to WCHY for a couple of years now, and compared to some other hot yoga studios I've practiced at, this place is the best. The teachers are encouraging and un-intimidating, and the studio has a lovely spa-like feel. I love how they offer free ice and filtered water, and how there is a nice sitting area in the back with magazines.

The reason why i like West Coast yoga because it fits perfectly into my schedule and all the instructors are great! The only problem I have is that the floors aren't very well cleaned. I see stains and pieces of hair everywhere left from the previous class. Every time I lay down I can smell the stinky floors.

If you crave hot yoga but hate the pretentiousness and drill-sergeant attitude of Bikrams, WHY is for you. They have several different hot classes to choose from, including one that's practically identical to the Bikram sequence, but they are way more sensible about how to treat your body. I agree with one of these reviews which says the hot class is TOO hot - I don't go to those for exactly that reason. I end up feeling so faint that I can't actually do anything in class but sit there, which is pretty useless. However the flow class is ten degrees cooler... more
