Wendell Burger was disappointing

We went there for lunch. Was not asked how I wanted my burger cooked. Came over-well done and dry. Price point is high for quality received.

Wendel a class guy but take your name out of of your restaurant venture

I was looking forward to going to Wendel's grill in Vaughan. In the rain, the roof above the door was angling water viciously onto my head. My family and I went to Wendel's in Vaughan, excited as it was my son's birthday and as we are all HUGE leaf fans wanted to watch the game so, we thought we'd try it as a family. Went there last night (hwy 7 and 400) during the Leaf game and it was surprisingly quiet. I ordered their burgers and they were good and juicy, but tasted frozen. must be suffering

We have been to wendels 3 times now
the first time there was no one there but maybe two other tables and us. this was prime dinner hour as well.
the second time very few people again. The manager gave us coupons to come back as clearly they were trying to increase their business

This review is of the Vaughan, ON location

This location is in the midst of an "entertainment" development. After another scorching day in Oakville we decided to go out for dinner. Our reservation was for 8.30 pm which I guess is late for a Thursday night. A fun time at Wendel's

Free kids meal for two grandchildren the day we went. TV right at booth - saw end of golf tournament. Good quantity and quality of food. Reasonable drink prices. Great service. Great sports atmosphere!

Avoid this place

Great pasta, lively ambience, slow service

We visited Wendel Clark's Grill for the first time on a busy Saturday night for dinner. The staff are very friendly and try to be helpful, but the service was unbelievably slow and sporadic. It took 40 minutes to get a glass of wine served at our table, and we were told it was because the bar was 'backed up'.... more

Great ladies night out

Birthday Bundle

Omg, I would recommend anyone doing a birthday party to do it here. We booked a private room for dinner, then go walked into Yuk Yuk and had no line no cover at the nightclub Stiletto, turns out it was grand opening so it was nuts. Sooooo much fun!

Yikes. The Wendel Burger was sans flavour. The Chicken Shawarma had  a good sauce, but little chicken. Fries were lacklustre. Even the bustier-chicks were in short supply.  I won't mention how long it took to get and pay the bill. It'll be a while before I return.
