Old world charm great service and location

This place says "stay classy Vancouver" great location right downtown without all the traffic noise (which is super rare for VCR downtown hotels. They are across the street from a park. Big rooms, great bar and restaurant it's hard to go wrong here

The Wedgewood hotel was very nice. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There were some hidden fees and expenses we weren't expecting ($30 for an extra person, $30/day for parking, etc) but otherwise we had a great stay.

From the moment the valet greeted us at the door to the time that we left when he brought the car around, we felt pampered and valued. Kirby remembered us every time we walked in the door, asking how our outing was and had we enjoyed the day. Our room was beautiful. The hotel was generally very good. The only problem was when we requested a taxi for 3pm we got a wake up call at 3am for it. Very annoying however they did let us check out a little later. We spent several nights at the Wedgewood Hotel in downtown Vancouver. The rooms are very nice and the service is excellent. It is in a very convenient location, walking distance to a myriad of shops and restaurants. It is part of the Relais and Chateau Group.

In January the price was right around $130 CAN per night and the valet parking was $10 which was a bargain because you can pick up your car or drop it off as often as you like. You cant beat the price of the room either when you compare the atmosphere and service with other hotels in the area.

Love the Location

Stayed for one night in December with a girlfriend. We had dinner reservations and due to weather conditions at the our flight was late landing and we were running behind.

The service is top notch, professional, friendly and immediate. The rooms well appointed and spacious. An excellent central location. One of the best stays I've had in Vancouver.

I have stayed at the Wedgewood many times. The junior suite is my favorite room for the price anywhere. The staff is always quite helpful although I miss the traditional feel of years past (i.e. The old fashioned room key that you left at the front desk and the fresh cut flowers in the room). The lounge is a great place for before dinner cocktails on a summer night.

This hotel is quaint and in a great location. I could walk most places. The staff was excellent. It was not your run of the mill hotel. If you go, use the eucalyptus steam room.

On our 21st anniversay. A man tried to enter our room in error - he was drunk - my husband tried to get him back to his room and wound up punched in the nose! That was bad enough - but the hotel said NOTHING. Security was called , etc... We paid $400 night for a black eye on our anniversay!
