One of my favourite downtown spots for a great lunch. The food is fresh, delicious and healthy for the most part. I think I've only ordered seafood here but that's a large chunk of their menu. The atmosphere is upper scale without being pretentious or snotty.

Great upscale Greek restaurant, perfect for a nice sit down lunch. You must try the saganaki: kefalotiri cheese flambé with ouzo and spritzed with fresh lemon juice.

Volos has some traditional Greek dishes (like Saganaki and Moussaka), but the restaurant's attraction is how it recreates traditional ingredients into new dishes. Lovely Experience

My husband and I are visiting Toronto and felt like Greek for lunch so we took a gamble on this restaurant after a random google search. We were pleasantly pleased with the entire experience - ambiance, service and food were all great. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and try it again on another visit here.

We had a party of 6 and the staff was so accommodating to our needs for plat sharing and had great recommendations. It was my 3rd time eating here and I always love it. The newbies in the group all said they'd come back.

Upscale greek food

This is not the Danforth Greek food but many levels above. It is a fine dining greek restaurant with excellent service and unique dishes. The seafood stew and the seafood in phyllo were outstanding. We will go back.

This is one of our family favourites. The ambience and food are delightful. The absence of tzatski and brochettes is a welcome change. While attending a meeting, we selected this restaurant because of the cuisine and proximity to our hotel. I had the lamb shank which was delicious this meat just fell off the bone and my husband had the rack of lamb -- also wonderful. The service was great. Great Variety of Food, nicely prepared

Our group was served a fixed menu that was extremely varied. The grilled octopus and calamari was the highlight for me. The only disappointment was that we were served wine from California instead of Greece.

I recently visited with some work friends following a personal recommendation and have to say we were not let down. Great service and a good selection of wines, one comment would be that I felt the wines were slightly overpriced. The food was fantastic and extremely well presented.

Fabulous Downtown Business Lunch

Wow, what a great location for a celebration business lunch! Excellent quality food, ambiance and service. We ordered Fisherman's Stew, Warm Seafood Salad and Giant Sea Scallops. All were sizable seafood portions and very fresh. Chocolate Mousse was fantastic. Can't wait to return for a dinner!! Highly recommended.

The service at Volos is amazing. From the moment I walked in to be seated to the second I left the restaurant, everyone I encountered was helpful, funny, and went above-and-beyond. The food was spectacular - I had the Baby Arugula & Shaved Fennel salad, as well as the Giant Sea Scallops. I can't wait to go back to Volos, it was worth every penny.

Great food, but can they cope with large crowds

We visites Volos a few weeks ago. Funny thing is, that I particularly remember our starters but can't seem to recollect our main courses. Anyway, go for either the cheese flambé or the spicy lamb sausages (forgot the Greek names). You will definitely be amazed..

Very Good Greek Food

I had excellent sea bass and fresh salad served in a very nice setting by attentive wait staff. They also serve many Greek specialties for appetizers, entrees and desserts. Good selection of Greek and other wines.

This is not fine dining. We had the octopus, the greek salad and the fried zuchinni. Nothing was very good and the zuchinni was not crispy. I would never eat there again.

Pre show meal just a few blocks from the theatre away from the crowds

Great venue for a pre theatre meal. We were a party of three and enjoyed various appetizers as our main meal. Nice selection of Greek wines. Service was excellent , fast and friendly. We did not feel rushed. We will definitely return

One word to describe the food here: epic. Definitely the best Greek food I have had in the city, and I would argue that it ranks in the top 5 of best all-round food. Service was friendly and quite prompt in spite of a full house. Price exactly in the range of what you would expect for relatively upscale dining in Toronto.

I enjoyed the cuisine at this restaurant. My favorite dish was the orzo soup seasoned with lemon. The chicken I had for my main course was also delicious but for some reason the soup stuck out the most to me. I probably would not return because there are so many other restaurants that I want to visit in Toronto but if I ever moved to the city I could see this becoming a staple of my rotation.
