This property is a nice boutique hotel. It is not a B&B even though the property seems to be designed as such. The rooms are of generous size. The bedding had a strong odor, that I could not decide was urine or some sort of scent. The mountain goat hanging around was cute. Free wifi.
we stayed for a week at the inn expecting a bed and breakfast but breakfast is not included and considering the price this is something that was disappointing. The bed and even the pillows were so hard that we didn't get much sleep all week. We didn't run into one other person who was staying there the whole week and... more
We stayed four nights in a Queen room which was tastefully decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable and well outfitted with good quality bedding, pillows and an afgan just in case more was needed. We were a bit confused with the service as the first day after spending a night, the shower was cleaned, the bed made up... more
We really enjoyed our one night here while on a trip visiting several ski resorts in BC. It was great to have a quaint country inn stay in the midst of several nights in mostly chain motels. We had a beautiful, comfortable corner room with a door to the outside as well as one to the inner hallway. The outside... more
We have been to Radium many times and have always wanted to stay at Village Inn - last weekend we got the opportunity and we were very pleased with the two nights we were there. We had rented the Kootenay Suite, a large room which had a sitting area and a king size bed - a very comfortable bed indeed.... more
-very nice and relaxing lounge area.
-great little tea shop
-breakfast not included in price, however there was a limited selection for purchase.
-conveniently located close to the Radium Hot Springs pool
We had a nice peaceful stay for two nights. The rooms are comfortable and the lobby/sitting area was fantastic...it even had a cribbage board! Across the street is a playground AND an outdoor workout area. (adult playground). This was great since my wife could continue her morning exercises away from home. Also, thanks Fern for the great restaurant recommendations. I... more
We stayed here in August, 2013, and were given the impression that an early check in for the next day was an imposition. Our more relevant issues focussed on the too loud air conditioner (the weather was hot), no fan and only venetians with no black out drapery. Our room was east facing towards the highway and town so we... more
Our two nights at the inn were relaxing. The hosts are friendly and very helpful. Good advice on where to eat and what to do in the area. It is just far enough from the highway. To be very quiet. We would stay there again.
We stayed at this charming little hotel for one night and were made welcome as if we styled for weeks. A delightful small Inn with 14 rooms. Very tastefully decorated. The rooms have TV and Coffee Makers but no Refrigerator. Breakfast is only continental , each item priced separately. The location is good, 2 blocks from the Main Street which... more
We arrived late in the afternoon with no reservations and received a delightfully warm welcome. A great jewel in a quaint town. We had A very comfortable room and were given an excellent dinner suggestion. All the comforts of home!
We stayed at the Village Country Inn for two nights this week. The Inn is a hotel property which is very nice and comfortable. We felt safe staying at the Inn. We used the Inn mostly as a landing spot for excursions out into the Kootenay park system.
The room featured bed, TV, and coffee making unit. No frig or...

Added a stop in this town-a hurry to leave Alpine Meadows in Golden-and pleasantly surprised at this little place. Comfortable room, window A/C, wifi, tv, everything worked. Hostess is pleasant. Public sitting room is comfortable with a large central river rock fireplace, amateur but original paintings on the walls, some quite good. Close to the little town and the hot... more
Really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were extremely clean and the owners were even nicer. It is located in the center of Radium and is close to an amazing wine bar. I would recommend this place to everyone!!!!
I cant wait to come back.
We checked in about 5 o'clock in the afternoon after a long day of driving. It was so nice to be greeted with a friendly smile and he not only took all our information and gave us the keys, but walked us to our room and showed us around the building. Our room was really clean and cute. We even... more
We were delighted with our "find" in Radium Springs. This charming inn conveniently located in town, but away from the highway more than met our needs. From the smallest detail (night light for the bathroom) to courtesy towels for the hot springs, to the most basic needs (most comfortable bed during 2 weeks in the Canadian Rockies) we were far... more
We stayed here over the long weekend from Aug 4-6, and we will definitely stay here when we come again! We were in a king suite, which was large and comfortable. The huge king sized bed was amazing and the room had all the amenities we needed…a mini fridge, flat screen tv & dvd player, air conditioning, a clean and... more
I have stayed at the Inn four times now, and I have loved it every singe time. I have stayed there both with friends and alone, and either way it was wonderful. The tea shoppe has an awesome selection of beverages (I'm a huge fan of the Italian soda) and I highly recommend trying the Egg Inn a Muffin. The... more
It's definatly time for a makeover. Decor was tacky and old, the beds were hard but very clean and has wonderfull potential to be fabulous. I was surprised at the lack of knowledge for the local restaurants.
Unlike other reviews, we did not find the lattice work and "country theme" overdone. We had a very comfortable room that overlooked a park area. Although clean, the carpets were a bit worn. And the cloth slippers by each door (the purpose of which was never explained) were definitely worn. I would suggest the owners get rid of those. The... more
After a dozen hotels and motels, this was a really nice change.
Located right in the middle of (tiny) Radium Hot Springs, off the main street (i.e. quiet), the Inn is a small place with charm, and small touches all tend to make you feel at home.
We had a double queen with spotless clean bathroom, tv, wi fi, no...

This nice and quiet inn is in a great location, right next to a lovely park, but only a 2-minute walk from the main road.
Our room on the main floor was very clean and pleasant and the mattress was good.
The owner waved to us when we came in but her teenage daughter helped us at the reception desk,...

Lovely B&B. Very comfortable and attractive rooms. Great host.
We only spent 1 night while getting from here to there on a fantastic trip of the Canadian Rockies. The inn was lovely, our hosts most welcoming, and we coud have easily stayed longer. Our dinner at Helna's Stube was also great.
Our room had a 2nd door which opened on to a long porch. We didn't have enough time...

Clean. Nice location. Walk to all restaurants. Comfortable bed. Cheery rooms.
Very clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff-and I dont usually like motels but being on a motorcycle it was perfect.
We arrived in Radium without a reservation. The rates were reasonable at Village Country Inn. The first room we were showed did not have a bath and we were quickly shown a larger room with a bathtub at the same rate. The inn is pleasant with a sitting area and dining room. We did not have breakfast, but it looked... more
My wife planned a one night stay at Radium Hot Springs to try the waters for my birthday.
In the two days we were there, I have never felt so relaxed and recharged. The hot springs were great and the spa treatment amazing.
One key factor to this experience was our stay at the Village Country Inn. The owners, Fran...

What a gem! Perfect p,ace for solo travelers and couples. Charming, clean, friendly service. The common area and tea room gives the inn a delightful bed and breakfast quality. So happy I found it!
We recently stayed one night at the Village Country Inn and we were very pleased. The atmosphere, the decor, the location, the staff was superb. The breakfast was fabulous. We would most definately stay here again.
My wife and I stayed on 12 Jul. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. I expected more for the price. The room was ok, a little small, but was clean. There was no fridge and the TV was .... small. We could easily hear everyone coming and going throughout the evening and night. (The walls must be thin!) Breakfast... more
This was one of our stops for our yearly snowboarding trip through BC. Fern and Graham were excellent hosts and we were very pleased with the quiet and clean atmosphere at the inn. We were also able to enjoy crib and watching the hockey game in the common room around the fire place, which we really enjoyed. The breakfest was... more
This was a wonderful experience for our first time staying at an Inn. It met and exceeded our expectations thanks to the owners Fern, Graham and staff. They were informative and helpful. It made my husband and I feel like we were staying with family and friends.
Breakfast was wonderful and their Kicking Horse coffee excellent.
Each night we relaxed...

We needed to be in Radium Hot Springs for an early start with Kootenay River Rafters (whitewater rafting) and chose to stay at the Village Country Inn. We had a warm welcome from our hosts. Recently my husband and I went with my senior citizen parents for a weekend in Radium, BC. We booked our rooms at the Village Country Inn, so we could have more than just a motel or hotel experience. We stayed at the Village Country Inn for one night in July 2009. We also stayed there in the summer of 2008.

On my recent trip to the Village Country Inn I was delighted by several positive and charming changes that have occured since my first visit before it was under new management in early September 2008.

* I appreciate the addition of...

We have stayed at and loved the Village Country Inn for years, but the owners changed last September (2008). In the past it was a wonderful place to stay with great service and incredible breakfasts. We had specifically booked this Inn because we liked the look of the rooms. I asked for the king corner room on the second floor and was told that we could have that room. Spent two nights at the Village Country Inn and was impressed with the room and the cleanliness of the Inn. A good location from which to visit the national park, golf courses, fishing lakes, and the Hot Springs. Breaksfast was good, a quiet and comfortable location. A good spot to stay on a visit to Radium Hot Springs.
Village Country Inn and its hosts Sasha and Gorm truly made our 3 day stay (August 1-3, 2007) in Radium a most cherished and memorable experience for my husband, 12 year old girls and I.
