WORST HOTEL EVER!!!!!! My boyfriend and I walked in and we couldn't believe this was a hotel in a first world country. The floors were laminate because they are too cheap to put carpets in and clean them once in a while. My feet hurt and legs by the time our stay was done. The walls were white stucco with... more
The Motel has a great location. The rooms are sparse, but clean, and they have everything you need. Good price for Regina. The hotel was on the main drag, but surprisingly quiet. Lots of restaurants and shopping very close.
My husband & I were relocating to Regina and stayed at the Motel 6 for five nights (both of us for three, just my hubby for two more). The motel was an independent place before Motel 6 took it over so it is a little dated from the outside and lobby.
As far as the room it was a big...

When we got there, the Indian man at the desk did not make eye contact with me at all, or acknowledge me, only my boyfriend, even though the reservation was under MY name. Got to the room and it was clean but very bare, not "homey" at all. Fridge was leaking on the ground which left a huge puddle. The... more
On our way to Vancouver, we stopped in Regina and had to stay in a hotel.Stayed for a day,
The room smelled smoke, no micro, no fridge and no coffee machine. Its not upto the standard.
No breakfast, unbelieveable.
It was okay. The room was big but sparsely furnished, causing an echo. Laminate flooring and no pictures made the place cold and uninviting. I wouldn't stay again but when you are travelling and don't make reservations or check out motels before leaving, then don't complain. There was no continental breakfast but there was coffee available in the lobby.
I've never paid what I did here for a Motel 6, but it was late and I was exhausted. There were a couple warning signs I should have picked up on:
#1 The smell of cigarettes on the elevator
#2 The same smell in the hallway (second floor)
#3 Laminate floors in the hotel room?
There was no hair drier...

Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place. Room we stayed in had no fridge, no coffee machine, no hair dryer, plug in tub didn't work, so no bath. Not even a shared microwave in the whole place, no whirl pool as advertised, lots of noise. No continental breakfast as advertised. Just stay away!!!!
It was clear there was renovation ongoing with lots of snow covered construction debris surrounding the property. Looks like they might be moving to go to a national branded motel. The front desk staff was helpful and apologized for the construction. I asked for a non-smoking room and was assigned a second floor room. Upon exiting the elevator it smelled... more
great clean motel! the only con was the fact that we got a jucuzzi suite and felt bad for enjoying it du to the person below us banging on her ceiling all night because apparently she could hear everything. I guess what do you expect 135.00 a night to get you?
This is a very basic motel. Rooms are standardly clean, furniture is somewhat dated and staff are pleasant but nothing spectacular. I would have given a four star but for three things. 1. They advertised having a whirl pool but it was closed 2. They advertised having a continental breakfast which was nothing more than coffee and cheap pastries 3.... more
Stayed here in June/2013 after 11 hours on the road. This is a clean, nice although pricey hotel. I paid around $110 but I gotta say the room was very nice, spacious, clean and well kept. Friendly personnel. A simple but very appreciated breakfast was offered in the morning.
I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended.
The facility is old and in need of upgrades. The halls are poorly lit. The room was adequate. The continental breakfast was acceptable. The price was high considering other accommodations in the area. Location of the motel is somewhat removed from the city and other attractions.
Hotel is clean, beds were very comfortable. Very reasonable pet price. Breakfast was pretty scarce, just toast, jam and muffins. The location is good, close to lots of shopping and restaurants. We would stay there again for sure.
Did not love this motel. It was clean but it seemed damp. We liked the private access we had on the main floor. The continental breakfast sucked. The pastries tasted a day or two old and were the cheap store bought variety. There wasn't even any real cream or milk for coffee. While it was inexpensive, we've decided that we'd... more
This motel was recently fully renovated, great location, large and very clean room, very comfortable beds, TV, fridge, the breakfast was very good.We loved our stay here.Definitely would recommend it to everyone.
This hotel is well priced for what you get. It is basic, but clean and quiet. Great location close to restaurants, and major highway etc. The people are friendly enough, and the breakfast is just ok. Good value for price, nothing fancy, but if you just want a place to sleep this is a good choice.
I stayed here in Oct, 2012. Management / owners are from India or Pakistan. Stall was nice.
Basic motel. No amenities. It is an older motel, probably a large chain at one time. The lobby is not very nice but my room was quite good. Clean, quiet, good internet. It looks like the owners have recently remodeled and have done...

Pros;
Cheaper than almost any other hotel in the city (especially on weekends).
Room was VERY clean
Basic, but included breakfast
Cons;
Dated decor and amenities - noisy a/c units (nice to drown out other noise though), tube tv's, very 90's furniture.
Conclusion;
Best value in the city. It's dated and pretty old but also very clean. There are no...

checked on many websites and this hotel (it really is a hotel) was the best price. Room was clean (although the cleaning staff needed to clean around the night table between the beds) and the staff were good. I usually don't sleep well in a hotel, but slept well in this one. Bed was soft and added pillows from 2nd... more
Our first impression of the Victoria Park Motor Inn was that it was somewhat clean and the price was cheap. We got the last non-smoking room, ground floor, near the main entrance. We asked to see the room beforehand and it was large and somewhat clean, although it did have an order. We were desperate because the other places we... more
In a city that seems to always have a concert, sporting event or conference that cripples the under serviced hospitality industry, the Victoria Park Motor Inn was a surprising experience. It was the last hotel with a vacancy that we could find in the city so I wasn't expecting much. The rooms are very basic, a little dated, but clean.... more
This hotel says "motel' on the sign--don't be confused-it is a hotel with mainfloor outside access as well as inside access to rooms.
Staff was incredible-accomodating for my children and small dogs.
The rooms were spotless and the hot tub was clean.
The workout equipment was broken at the time but was assured that a requisition was in place for...
