Victoria Inn was amazing to work with for our wedding reception. The service was exceptional and the food was absolutely delicious.
I can't say enough good things about the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg. The hotel staff went way out of thier way to make us feel comfortable. The food was very good and a very good value for the cost when compared to other hotels.
This was my second time staying at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg. This time around my stay was very short. I needed a place to rest our heads as I had 4 children traveling with us. We were booked into a room with a separate room for the kids. The room had two sets of bunk beds, an Xbox, fish... more
We had a province-wide conference at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg, May 2-4. Our association has used this facility numerous times, because it is convenient, both for local delegates as well as out-of-town guests. I have also been a guest here for private events. When we have weekend programs, I usually check in for the duration because it is clean,... more
Acres of parking, nice clean rooms, no breakfast included but their restaurant, Chicago Joe's is excellent. Handy to the airport. Nice pool. Funny that the coffee maker and refrigerator are in the bathroom.
We were getting away for a night and decided to try the Victoria Inn. It said there was a pool and hot tub so we figured we could relax, have a quiet evening, have supper...

The room was small but clean. The 2 double beds were very soft and having a fridge in the washroom was a little different. The pool was clean and good for very small children. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful as well. We had a couple nice meals in the restaurant.
I recently stayed here on a business trip because the hotel is near the airport and I got a very good rate. I found the reception staff efficient and welcoming.
My room was comfortable and I was able to work very well in my room using their wifi connection. I went to the on-site restaurant for a late lunch and...

Excellent Service, great staff, lunch buffet is excellent, will definitely come back and recommends all my friends. Very close to airport, have free shuttle for airport pick and drop off. Room service is excellent! Very impressed and satisfied stay!!
Great hotel! We use their conference facilities several times a year and the reason we keep coming back is due to their wonderful banquet staff and the flexibility their venue has. We love that their main balllroom can hold upwards of 900 people and they also can fit all our delegates into numerous breakouts. Their expansion is super exciting as... more
The Victoria Inn, Winnipeg MB was the chosen venue for my conference in November. The staff, hospitality, audio visual team, catering, and accommodations were excellent. Victoria Inn staff were pleasant, approachable and attended to all conference needs as well as tending to guests. We were surprised by the number of walk up registrations, but the V. I. staff made special... more
I stayed there twice in Feb-Mar 2014, room on 5th floor, which they designate "Corporate" and requires room key to access. The beds were great, towels very nice, and the room was clean and quiet. Internet access worked properly. The personnel at the desk were pleasant and competent, and the shuttle drivers were also. I did not eat at the restaurant so cannot comment. I will definitely stay... more
We arrived from Anchorage, Alaska and via Vancouver at 1:00 am. Found our accommodation very good. Got a good nights sleep after so much travelling. Staff very helpful and we got complimentary parking. It was central to everything we needed.
We went to get away from the cold and snow and let the kids play in the pool! From the time we checked in (early) to the time we checked out (late check out) everything was fantastic! Exactly what we needed and kids had a blast in the dinosaur inspired swimming area! Definately a family hotel
I have stayed at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg many times and have always had great service and a pleasant stay. It is also the most convenient hotel to stay at when my family is travelling from the Winnipeg airport early in the morning or coming home late.Keep up the great work!
At the last minute( flight issues) I needed a place to stay. Victoria Inn had a room which turned out to be very comfortable, (clean / quiet). This was on a Monday night stay. My next available flight was not until 7 pm Tuesday. The hotel has a late check out program(4 pm) where you pay an extra $20 plus... more
I booked here because I had an early flight out of YWG. Staff was great and friendly, Big issue is that the wireless did not have a strong enough signal for my phone or computer to connect at the low 370 numbers. Lobby was not much better so I used the computer in the hallway outside the business center. Not... more
This is a truly basic stay offering. The rooms are older, washrooms are dated and updated with an early 90s flair, doors old and painted, pool bizarre and cheesy (some kind of dinosaur theme that just doesn't work, poorly constructed, not coherent, rarely used, ugly brown paint slapped on doors...... I could go on but I think I have conveyed... more
Arrived late to the airport but were quickly picked up by the shuttle bus. Lovely friendly driver. Unfortunately there was a bit of a mix up with the payment however. I stay at the Victoria Inn a few times a year. The staff is friendly, and most helpful. The airport shuttle is very handy and the lounge is great. If you have kids, the pool area is second to none. I highly recommend this hotel for business stays, travel or just plain leisure.
Loved it here :) my kids wanna go back loved the pool n slide
The hotel is very updated and has a great pool area. We stayed along the back side of the hotel on the first floor. There wasn't any and noise and the window looked into the courtyard. Just a quick comment on the exceptional service, hospitality, ammenities, and degree of comfort my daughter and I experienced and a recent stay at the Victoria Inn in Winnipeg. The staff treated us with the utmost respect and friendlyness that was second to none. I had to stay here because of the crazy flight cancelations but I do not regret choosing Victoria inn over Sandman hotel or Best Western.

Booked two rooms for a family getaway, to take the kids swimming and beat the cold. Front desk service was great. Rooms older and in need of a facelift, but the beds were comfortable. Heating in our room didn't seem to be working right, and the room was extremely cold all night.
Kids enjoyed the DinoPark swim area. Adults can...

Stayed again in early December for a conference. Check-in was smooth. Was told we were on the 5th floor and that we'd need to have our room key to access that floor from the elevators. I stayed there on the night of December 14 2013. Phoned the hotel directly as my plane was late and I knew it was close to the airport. They charged me 179 plus taxes (200) for one night. The room was very cold, but we were tired, so we turned up the heat and waited. We ended up sleeping in... more
I stayed here for 2 nights in September 2011 to attend a wedding and it was just okay (you can see my previous review on trip advisor - room felt dated, they messed up our reservation but wedding part was good). I booked a room here for my parents' visit to Winnipeg. Everything was taken care of for them and it was a seamless and enjoyable experience. The staff recommended that we book on the 5th as it was meant to be the quietest floor. I would recommend this hotel.
Recently stayed at the Victoria Inn Winnipeg for business and I was really impressed with it. Check in was extremely fast and effortless and the staff were so courteous and helpful. The staff was friendly, although they forgot BOTH wakeup calls I had requested. Make sure to set your alarm if you need to wake up. The sound insulation (at least on the side facing the road) is non-existent. Planes landed and took off all night long, making sleep impossible. Room was clean and VERY CLOSE to the airport.
Staff were friendly and accommodating when we arrived early at the hotel, they stored our luggage until check in time! We had a three year old and 4 month old and stayed in a poolside room. Great 2 room suite for families with younger children that go to bed early. Pool is great depth (1.8 meters)for kids under 10. Slide was amazing!\n\nPool was barely luke warm. It was 9 degrees outside, so it was not a refreshing cool pool.\n\nGreat clean hotel! Awesome dinosaur themed pool for kids under 10.
We called to unclog tub drain, but problem repeated during next use. Room was not cleaned after due reservation system showed us registered for 1 night instead of 2.
Location close to airport yet very quite\n\nVery poor and outdated rooms\n\nDont stay here for comfort until they get the updates complete.21/2 star at best.
Location was good for travelers. Close to airport and greyhound bus station. Staff was helpful.\n\nHotel can be pricey without any discount.\n\nRoom was good. The rooms were quite clean and comfortable.\n\nOnce again, the pool area was not clean, there was visible soiling along the edge of the pool and water slides.\n\nThis hotel was quite comfortable however the pool area was entirely for children the deep end in only one meter deep and the water slide area was not great.
Kids really liked the watersides. Us adults liked the privacy from other guests.\n\nThe pool had to much chemical! Burnt our eyes and skin.\n\nWe had a good stay. The rooms were basic nothing to special but for the one night we were there it was just fine.
Clean\n\nThey overcharged me according to what they said.
Friendly staff, close to airport. shuttle service.\n\nNeeds up grading.\n\nFriendly, courteous staff. place needs a makeover.
The personnel at the front desk were very nice, polite and helpful.\n\nThe chlorine was a little strong and both of my daughters were rushed from head to foot.\n\nAs I said, the pools chlorine level was h@!%!*n the eyes and the kids skin, but it definitely didn't stop them from spending 6 hours straight in the pool. All in all it was a great stay. We will be back!
The staff was friendly and helpful.\n\nIt was great for parking. The room was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I used the Internet and the kids loved the pool.
Nothing\n\nPool - freezing cold, hot tub was out of order, Never Again!\n\nPool - freezing cold, hot tub was out of order, charged $110 upfront for what exactly? Location was way out of the way. Staff was unfriendly and rude.
Asked for an upgrade and got one and they even matched Priceline for an extra night..awesome hotel!\n\nOne minor detail the pool was geared for kids, no deep end swimming.\n\nThe rooms were super clean with an great little in house restaurant. My kids loved the Dino pool with water-slide.
Convenience\n\nExcellent staff very helpful convenient to the airport.
Near to airport, excellent shuttle service.\n\nWhen asked about taxis reception staff did not direct us to the taxi rank outside\n\nGood for quick turnround to airport and back - shuttle service excellent. Downside of this is that there is aircaft noise during the night!

Parking was easy - location good if you have a car!\n\nThe pillows are awful.\n\nThe room was clean and spacious and we appreciated the fridge. The shower amenities are very nice. The restaurant, Chicago Joes, was convenient and the food was excellent.
