Wonderful Anniversary Evening

Love this place

Had dinner here on April 2, 2014 before attending the Rose Theatre. Exceptional as always, love the owner, love the food, love the location.

Wonderful evening

Great atmosphere

We did stumble into this restaurant to give it a try. The food was very good as well as the service and atmosphere.

Great food, friendly service

I have never had a bad meal at Vesuvio. The staff is friendly and helpful without hovering. Take as much time over your meal as you like, they'll even cook you something special if you ask.

Fabulous Dinner

Had dinner at Vesuvio's last night (for the first time) and was most impressed. Rather than order from the menu, we let the staff choose the 5 courses along with the appropriate wine and, needless to say, we were delighted with everything. Delicious Delicious Delicious.
We'll be going back for sure.

We love this place

Great restaurant to eat at before going to the Rose Theatre. Can't get there often enough. 10% off your bill if you show Theatre tickets. Fantastic pizza and pasta.

Excellent pizza

I used to eat at Vesuvio's when I was a teenager but haven't been back since I moved to Orangeville. Still the same owner and still the same great pizza. Received 10% discount when we showed our tickets to the Rose theatre. Good service. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful food and ambiance

This place is a landmark in downtown Brampton. John, the owner, does a great job of creating consistently delicious meals. The service is excellent. They have a wood fired pizza oven. Of all the Italian restaurants, this is the original and is still the very best.

A Brampton Fine Eating Fixture

Vesuvio Ristorante has been around for ever and is a local fixture. If you can book a table early enough, it's a key Valentine's Day dinner spot.

overpriced

We came here for a special celebration and the food was good, but VERY overpriced for what you get. Portions are small for an italian place, the atmosphere is nice but I wouldn't return. It's not worth the crazy high prices.

My husband and I have ate here many times. The restaurant makes you feel like you are visiting a place tucked away in Italy. The family pictures on the wall and the ambiance is very appealing. I ate hear some time ago and was very impressed with the food and service. You must remember that this is a fine dinning restaurant. It was a little expensive but it was all worth it. Also I need to make note is this restaurant is the only place outside Toronto that cooks their pizza in a wood burning oven.... more

The service here was very good. Our waiters were friendly, attentive and good humored.  We enjoyed the bruschetta appetizer, nicely toasted and bite size. Good restaurant located downtown Brampton.

Can I give a negative score for service? Lets put it this way--bill was $80.88 (no alcohol) and I left $82.00.
Went there for special birthday dinner and left angry. Here's why:
--Order cesear salad. Absolutely no taste.

Best delivery pizza in toronto, the pasta dishes are also good. The only thing I suggest you stay away from are the italian sandwichs tried them a couple times and never was impressed the bread is terrible and the veal is nothing special. Tip ask for the pizza well done.. yum

I had buissiness at City Hall and for lunch I stopped in for a something to eat and was pleasantly surprised, a little bit more than I wanted to spend but I liked it enough to bring my wife and mother in law back for a great dinner that same night.

vesuvio offers a very small and personal atmosphere. the menu offers all your italian favourites at prices more than your average place. the service was excellent and food was superb. would recommend it to anyone.

Great Italian restaurant, tiny and quaint. You can spend much more than $20.00 but if you are into pasta you will find that as an average cost. If you want to get into the meat and cheese dishes then your cost will be higher. But who cares about cost when the food, drink and ambiance are first class. Go and enjoy with a reservation in hand.

Although I approximated the average entree at $20-30 what you're in the mood for would ultimately decide your cost. Many of their pasta dishes and pizza's would be much less.
