Shocking and awful experience

The management of this place is disgusting and hell bent on exploiting clients.

Besides them trying to cheat their way out of fully paid appointments it should be noted the treatments beds are nasty, they use stained towels and have poorly trained technicians – be warned

I started coming here in June of 2011 had purchased a few deals and started utilizing the first one in June then subsequently purchased a permanent hair removal deal in August which was for 1 year treatment unlimited hair removal on 3 body parts starting at the day of the first treatment. I redeemed that voucher starting October 2011 and it was to last me till October of 2012 . Come June of 2012 I called the spa to make my next appointment and was told my voucher had expired. That surprised me as I knew I only started the package in October, I was told be the receptionist she’ll look in to the matter for me. Then started receiving phone calls from the spa saying that I was wrong and as a matter of fact I had taken extra treatments from them and they were adamant my voucher expired in June. I went back on forth with various girls working in the store. Trying to explain to them that the vouchers used in June were other vouchers which I had purchased earlier separately.

After several humiliating and harassing phone calls form the spa I almost gave up until I paid attention to the redemption date on the 1 year unlimited hair removal voucher, it stated I purchased the voucher in august 2011 and not June 2011 which also meant there was no way I could have redeemed it in June. Upon telling the spa receptionist that I received a call back from them saying they were sorry and for compensation they’d throw me a free pedicure. That was a slap in the face.

They were ready to take away 4 months of my treatment that I had paid for and now that I could prove that they were lying they compensated me with a free pedicure. Had I not had that proof of purchase date I would have lost 4 months of treatments. That Is what im most bitter about, how dare they

I don’t know how many people have been cheated by this spa, I never returned for my 4 months of treatments or the free pedicure. I just hope better business bureau holds these cheating scum bags accountable for any complaints they receive

Waste of time

Useless. They have a policy that complete hair removal is guaranteed after 10 treatments and that's where they caught me. I came with my coupons and asked to make sure that if I still hair after 10 treatments the rest will be free until the hair is gone and they confirmed it. Ok, so I attended 9 treatments, and NOT A SINGLE HAIR FALL OFF. At the end of my 9th treatment the receptionist tell me that that was my 10th and last treatment... wth, I can count and all my appointments were marked in my calendar. I try to argue and ask them to tell me dates for all those '10' treatments. They fail to do so as they 'got a new system recently.' At that moment I gave up and reminded them of their policy on guaranteed hair removal after 10 treatment. And guess what? Somehow I don't qualify for that policy! I suppose by not wanting to pay them more... Conclusion: their laser is useless and doesn't work, their guarantee is a trick, and their respect for customers is none-existent. My apologies for such a negative review, but I'm rather upset after all that experience.

Don't do It

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I have never had such a TERRIBLE experience anywhere.
1) No Value for customers time - do not have anything planned after your appt because I had 9 laser treatments with Vanish and I waited a minimum of 20 minutes every time
2) It's unsanitary and disgusting

So in a nutshell you may be saving some money but it is by no means worth it. NEVER AGAIN

Worst customer service!!!

NEGATIVE star for this place. Employees have no professional attitude, makes wrong schedules and denies their mistake. and kept talking behind the front desk while I was there waiting. Manage name LJ has no professional finess and has the worst customer service. I went 2x and both pcassions they denied the schedule and said it was wrong day!!! Manager was talking as I talked, JUST F@@@@@@ wasted my time going there. NOT going there forever. I give this palce 2 yrs more to CLOSE!!!!

Ok, if you follow daily deals websites as much as I do, you'll know that Vanish utilizes them EVERYDAY in order to sale their services. (See Cakedeals.com) Almost all daily deal sites charge the business 50% of each voucher sold... so if you're buying a $20 voucher for a facial, Vanish is only making $10. Does that give them an excuse to provide c@!%!y service in an awkward environment?... more
