The Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel Is Steps Away From Coal Harbour And Cruise Ship Terminal And Offers A Weddings And Meetings Hotel In Downtown Vancouver Featuring Facilities.
We had great experiences with many other Marriott hotels, so we decided to stay loyal and picked the pinnacle hotel.. We were first given 28th floor with harbour view, but found a spider underneath my pillow. We were pretty grossed out..so we called the front desk, but from the sound of it..they thought we were lying.. then they gave us the 30th floor. We were hoping that it would be much... more
I'm not usually loyal to a particular hotel, but I know which hotel I'm staying when I'm in Vancouver. I don't know what they do to the staff there, but the staff at the Marriott Pinnacle is the nicest hotel people anywhere--Brittney at the frontdesk was amazingly helpful during my last trip to Vancouver. The rooms are clean, the views are breathtaking and the restaurant has surprisingly good... more
It's a great place to stay. The Ocean View Room which i was in on the 18th floor was great as well. It may not be the cheapest Hotel but it's worth the stay. My most important stat for a hotel is to be clean. Well it is :) Great stay and everything is just around so no need to travel to far.
Front Desk manager is very disrespectful and rood (David Jang). I am very applaud by his guest services. I will not return to any Marriott franchise.
Very Happy, Stayed 7 nights. Loved the room. It was set up with the bed facing the bay windows with a great view of the convention center and the harbor. It was kept clean, the staff was friendly and willing to help. I asked for a fridge and it was provided because the "ice chest" type fridge is lame. The concierge's sadly to say gave me wrong info all 3 times I asked. 3 different concierge's.... more
The room was pretty nice with large windows and nice views. But the staff lacked some common sense; The managers not very polite. Customer service definitely needs some improvement!
The map is about 6 blocks out. Good job I didn't walk there!
I really like staying here, and have done so a few times. The location is a big plus for me as its close to my favorite places. My daughter who is really picky gives it her seal of approval also. The rooms are clean and roomy. Also lets break out with the free Wi-Fi, I hate having to mess around after checking in. Parking is also a little pricey but that's a Vancouver thing. I would stay again... more
Nice hotel, but this is not the correct location for it.
Service from the front desk, concierge, and all other workers was outstanding and helpful. Hotel is conveniently located in downtown near plenty of restaurants and shops.
Hotel is an excellent for business travelers and or business family travel.
I fell in love with the hotel and staff.
Hotel is located in a great central spot. It's close to the water front and close to Vancouver attractions, including shopping, dining, and landmarks. The hotel itself is in very good condition, has a very good fitness facility, indoor lap pool, and a restaurant. The rooms are in good condition, clean, and offer all the basics. In addition, each room comes with a mini-fridge, which is a... more
We picked the Pinnacle for it's location. Wonderful water views, close to Stanley Park, etc. Staff was great with restaurant recommendations. Wouldn't recommend Robson Street shopping, or Chinatown, even though the hotel has write ups on them. Trashy and cheap. Need to watch where you're walking going east of Gastown. Dicey. Where the hotel is situated and west of there is lovely.
I arrived early in the day, with a flight about 11:00, and rather than checking my luggage, and walking around in the rain, as I was thinking would be my afternoon, they cheerfully, upon my arrival, advised, my room was indeed ready, and I could have the keys right away!! I was so amazed, and grateful, The room was a dream, and while I was there for a meeting later in the day within the hotel,... more
The Marriott Pinnacle was a great location easy walking distance from the Convention Center. The in-hotel restaurant and bar had good food and service. The rooms were comfortable, and the lap-swimming pool was a great plus!
good experiance.food is good.service is excellent.
The Marriot in Vancouver was a great place to stay. The employees were very nice and helpful with directions to various places of interest.
Hotel was located right in the heart of downtown, with easy access to all the places we wanted to visit. Just a few minutes drive to several waterfront restaurants and other pubs. It was very nice and quiet. Hotel bar was pretty nice, but nothing to write home about.
No complaints. Room was comfortable although not large. But comfy bed and pillows. Restaurant food was good.
This hotel is very convenient , fair priced and has excellent and efficient staff. Food was very good. Within walking distance of the Skyway from the Airport. Conference facilities were good and staff helpful amd efficient.
1.) At checkin there was only one of two rooms available2.) Came back later, no rooms available. Clerk spelled other parties name wrong and it took the clerk a while to find the room.3.) No bottled water in room. Was told there would be some there.4.) Phone did not work well very staticy even after changeout.5.) refrigerator did not work, maint. took it away but never replaced it.6.) Told... more
Very nice hotel. Was located in walking distance of many attraction.
I really enjoy the good service, the staff was very pleasant, they wer always smiling and helping me. The concierge was very helpful.
The hotel itself is great. We were treated well upon arrival, even though we were wearing pretty sloppy travel clothes, and the housekeeping and front desk staff were both wonderful. The only problem is if you're looking for food after dark in the area. Everything in the immediate area is pretty pricey unless you hit up the 7-Eleven and navigating to find somewhere open that was decently priced... more
Great location, excellent service and beautiful rooms. Great place to stay for a weekend getaway.
The staff was excellent. The room was extremely nice. We ate most of our meals in the hotel restaurant and they were always perfect with an excellent wait staff that was friendly and helpful.
Dependable Marriott quality. Excellent staff. Within easy walking distance of most everything in Vancouver. Expensive parking!
The room was clean and comfortable, but the extra charges for the parking, the expensive food and the expensive internet were a bit prohibitive. The concierge was extremely helpful and informative and the location was perfect for the Downtown attractions. It was easy to drive to based on Google maps directions. The family had rooms on many different floors, but having limited access via... more
Clean room, centrally located near the cruise terminal. Would definitely go back again.
We arrived at the hotel, on foot after a full day of car, air, and public transport to beautiful Vancouver. The staff and concierge at the hotel were a very helpful, courteous, professional yet down to earth group to deal with. The hotel is only a block from the Waterfront, a block from the Skytrain, and a short walk to the Water Taxi service (located next to the Convention Center on the... more
I felt welcomed from first moment to last. All staff were delightful; the concierge service was especially helpful.I enjoyed a spectacular harbor view from the 27th floor. The location is ideal to all downtown and harbor attractions.
A 50th wedding anniversary marred by 2 out of 4 elevators inoperable for the entire week, noisy pressure washers outside, and a fire alarm at 6:45 a.m. caused by a permanent resident (no credit or compensation by hotel for the gross inconvienence).
We arrived past midnight on a VERY busy night in Vancouver. Unfortunately, Orbitz had communicated 2 persons to the hotel so when 2 adults and 2 kids showed up with 1 bed - we had a problem. There was not an available room in the city but the manager was EXTREMELY helpful and they made up a bed on the floor for my kids and comped our breakfast. The room had been paid already so they... more
Every staff member went out of their way to make you feel at home and help with anything we needed. Great hotel! :)
My experience was fine. Nothing noteworthy, good or bad.
I have attended several conferences and exhibitions since 2004, at the Pan Pacific Center and now to the, out of this world, new Vancouver Convention Center. For Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and Renewable Energy for the climatic change and the environmental sustainability. One of the best hotels in the vicinity and for prices and service and services, much better.Every visit to Vancouver and in this... more
Consistent with Mariott service offer and great location to new, beatyfull Convention Center. When next time in Vancouver will very likely return to the same hotel.
Our room was spacious and comfortable, spotless. The concierge extremely helpful in getting us set up for tours and giving us tips on restaurants and attractions. The restaurant, while not expecially elegant, had great food and friendly knowedgable staff. The location was great - short walk to the convention center and waterfront, comfortable walking distance to most attractions downtown. ... more
This is the perfect location if you have business in downtown Vancouver. Few minutes walk from the Convention Center and very close to the entertainment district too. Nice, quiet hotel, extremely helpful and pleasant staff! And the price is right too.
This hotel is super luxurious! With what we paid for at the Marriott, it's all worth it. The menu at the restaurant below (Showcase) is insanely expensive. There are close cheap places to eat nearby.
The support staff was excellent - doormen, cleaning staff, fitness room staff. The main lobby staff varied and was not as helpful. Using the internet as a visitor to access locations was a problem. A visitor friendly service would be better instead of selling trips.
Definitely on my recommend list. Very close to excellent shopping and the water. The rooms were very comfortable and relaxing - I slept so well in those beds. Also, the shampoo and soaps are my favorite of any hotel! On my next return to Vancouver, I will definitely stay here!
Yes, would recommend this Marriott for sure! Arrived to have a room with view of other high rises and contruction on 11th floor. Politely asked for possibility of room with a view and was offered full view of water and mountains for additional $20 per night. Took it and was very pleased with view from the 24th floor. Excellent value for the cost of booking through Skoosh. Staff helped us to... more
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. We were suppose to stay for a week. We stayed on the Concierge level which was a joke. Would be nice if the private club room had more to offer. The view was spectacular we were on a high level and had a great view of the city. But the rooms were very small. Good thing for the whole wall of windows. After two days we ended up moving across the street... more
The hotel was very accommodating and the staff were wonderful!!! very friendly & helpful. We traveled with friends & they were on a differnt floor. The security they use will only let you go to the floor that you are registered to; so we had to go downstairs to meet to go to each others room. Also the ice machine is on every other floor, so sometimes the security wouldn't let us go to the... more
Check in and out went smoothly though we were sorry to leave.
We ended up in this room via Priceline. When you pay $60 for a $250 room it's pretty hard to knock it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. You can't beat the location or the view if you get a view room. The room was very nice and clean but pretty much the same room as you get in a decent 3 star hotel for probably about half the price (this hotel is a 4 star). Anyone staying at this... more
