The deluxe room was on the small side but nicely upgraded. The washroom hasn't been upgraded to the same level as the room. I landed in an outdated room that had not been upgraded so it was disappointing. The reality was much less than the pictures of the lobby and the front area that has been updated. Be aware that for $89 per night you will get a room that is quite old and you will not want to walk on the carpet bare feet!

Terrible stay

The room smelt musty and the carpet was old. The bathroom was old and not up to date. The Internet was not working and when we went down to bring it to the front desk staff attention, the service repair man blamed it on our devises not working, when there were 3 adults and not one of our cell phone would receive wifi. Don't believe what you see

We were really disappointed. The staff was ok not over friendly The rooms where ok but the bathrooms were aweful.We didn't even take a shower. Looks good on the surface

I could tell this hotel was recently given a face lift but in my opinion they could have done more. Overall for the price it was a good deal and i did enjoy the food.

The rooms are very old and outdated. The bathroom is extremely small and undesirable, which includes a yellow sink and shower. The beds are small and uncomfortable. The price should be approximately $50 CAD per night at most.

We didn't get a newly renovated room, but the room still served its purpose. The breakfast (bacon, egg, hash browns and toast) that was included in the room was good, however I feel that the people who choose the muffin or cereal option didn't get what they would has paid for!

This is an old motel that had a very terrible makeover. Bathrooms were dirty and moldy, tiles were falling off, spray foam used to fill carpet cracks. Loved the hot tub & pool but the breakfast service was awful. We waited 45 minutes and then gave up. It is not a help yourself buffet style breakfast. I was surprised when I saw it from the outside and was a little concerned it looked very old and like a motel.... Room was non smoking but smelt of smoke. This motel is very tired and old and requires urgent renovation. Expensive for location as facilities are old. The room was not clean; there were wires coming up through the floor and
were not capped (against cec and csa codes). Smoke detector was hanging

The last time I stayed at this location it was still called Colonial Inn. It is hard to believe that this is the same place. I really like the changes.

The only thing I didn't like that the lounge was open until 9:30pm and that the dining room was not licensed to serve liquor. Other than that I totally loved our stay and will definitely be back in the near future.

After seeing the photos on the site for the V Hotel and Suites in Moncton, we were expecting a renovated, modern-looking room. Nope. The room we had was not updated and seemed to have had the same decor for the last 20-30 years.

Motel in the Heart of DT Moncton

Typical Motel Accommodation close to DT, nice indoor mineral Pool and Hot Tub, nice front desk staff; washrooms and bedrooms are a bit outdated but comfortable. Will suffice for a night's stay, plus you get free continental breakfast in the morning.

This is an older, charming hotel. It is convenient to downtown and has a wonderful staff who are terrific examples of what customer service should be. We have just returned home from our stay at the Colonial Inn, Moncton. There was a large group of us ranging from ages 24 to 70, all women.

I stay here at least twice a year. New management has upgraded a lot of things. New pool this summer with sliding glass enclosure to cover it for winter, new hot tub by pool.
Free WIFI throughout plus lobby computer for guests.
