Bad Service
My husband, daughter and I tried to have lunch on their patio one afternoon and it was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. The first bite my husband took out of his hamburger had half a toothpick cooked into the patty. He hurt his mouth and when we told the waiter he didn't seem overly concerned. He told us that 'with stuff like this I usuaaly just get the manager'. Stuff like this? How often does this happen? The manager offered to have some sort of chicken wrap made for my husband which we turned down as that's not what he wanted or ordered in the first pkace. The manager then took all of the food from our table and sent the waiter back out with a bill for the appetizers and drinks. I called the restaurant later hoping to speak to someone with better customer service skills and was given the run around by yet another manager who was both snotty and sarcastic. The funny thing is the week previous to this incident I'd actually recommended this restaurant to family who were visiting from out of town. Never again.
Good Food
Fresh Food and lots of it. I don't like the fact that the waitstaff wears chef coats while serving tables, as a career cook i believe you have to earn a chef coat. if they made the food i would not have a problem, but our server didn't even know what spices they use in the mash potatoes.

Always amazing
April 01, 2011We've went a few times for lunch and diner and the food was always amazing, the staff courteous and the restaurant exceptionally clean... Not one bad thing to say other than we are all too full when we leave!

For one the staff is amazing! The service was so great!! Two the food is the best! You can go there for lunch and pay $9.99 and eat all the burgers, salads, soups, pastas, pizza your tummy can take! Will go back soon!

the brunch buffet has got to be the best I have ever had. We live all the way out in Perth and plan at least a couple of brunches every year with friends and family at tucker's

I went there like 10 times. Me and My family go there pretty much everytime we come to Ottawa. My parents always take food from the buffet but I find that it all looks cold and gross so I order fresh from the litle Make your Own Pasta kinda stand there. It's fresh and very good. I went to Tucker's Marketplace on Canada Day a few years back and I found the food sucked! The service was not much better. I will not be returning to Tucker's anytime soon.

Good selection, many tastes and traditional pastas, stir fries and salads for one and all! My only concern was on one visit, my brother had a nasty experience with the potatoes au gratin which made me question how often they change the untouched buffet selections. Still, you will leave FULL!
