Kids really enjoy the pool and parties that have been there in the breakfast area. Rooms are ok, nothing special. Good idea to use for new years if you have kids.
it was nice room but Expedia screwed up on the booking of type of room and not the hotels fault. When asked for a Jacuzzi room and you get a Jacuzzi tub for one that makes for a very unpleasant romantic night.
Room has a bad smell, dirty carpet, bed was clean and ok.
It was comfortable and the staff was friendly. Great waffle bar in the breakfast room.
We arrived to this hotel dead tired after a 14 hour drive and Joe at the front desk Immediately got us into a room two hours early so we could sleep before going to the casino for some Poker. The room and bed was excellent as well.
Was in Prince George for a family wedding and stayed at this hotel with other family members. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The fitness center was equipped with modern equipment and air conditioned. Only one dining place on site and was closed for part of my stay.
The free breakfast buffet was ok but no options for lactose intolerant people....

Not the most extravagant of hotels, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly, breakfast bar is average, has all amenities you would need plus a casino attached to the hotel. It is reasonably priced for what you get.
I looked at a few places prior to settling for treasure cove. The lobby is very clean and spalike(with fruit infused waters).the front end staff (bonnie in particular)found me the best room price and was efficent.the pool and slide was the best i have seen and the rooms were comfortable with lovely duvets and more pillows than you could possibly... more
This was a fun place to stop with kids. The pool with the slide was great for the kids. We had a suite with two bedrooms and a small living room. The rooms were clean and nice. The living room area had stains on floor but overall was clean. Would stay again. Pet friendly.
The restaurant was closed and we did not know this until we checked in. Apparently they close over long weekends when the hotel is at full capacity? Our room smelled of stale milk, but the staff was nice.
The experience was great with an excellent complimentary breakfast.
A little pricy but good continental breakfast and access to the Casino.
Probably the nicest place in Prince George with is not saying much. Really your number choice in PG is Sandmand Signature and the Treasure Cove is second but it is also the most expensive. Nice and clean. Good comp breakfast in lobby wth waffles and pancakes. Negative was the noise from the highway.
I stayed on 3rd floor king bed.the hotel was full but i didn't hear much noise. pool area is nice and the complimentary breakfast was good.will definatly stay again. there is a casino next door to hotel also.
We love staying at the Treasure Cove while we are in Prince George. We've always had a beautiful clean room and the staff are so friendly and polite. This time we finally had the free breakfast they offer in the mornings , since we usually leave really early. There was absolutely everything a person could want to eat for breakfast... more
I spent two nights here on a business trip. I had a king sized single room on the 4th floor.
At first, I was worried that I might be bothered by the highway noise considering my room faces the highway. Wasn't a problem. The rooms were also well designed so that the washroom separates the bed area from potential noise...

My wife and I frequently do business in P.G. and have stayed at the hotel at least once a month. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are always well taken care of. My daughter and I stayed here during her gymnastics competition and it was GREAT! hot tub was perfect, pool and slide were awesome! Clean and very comfortable rooms, lots of healthy options for breakfast. The staff was AMAZING! Efficient, polite and very helpful. Cant wait for our next stay :-) two thumbs way up
Was good when it's hard to get into most hotels. No complaints
We stayed with my daughter as she moved over to Prince George.
the staff were great - very friendly and very helpful. would recommend staying here.
Breakfast was great and we did dine in quite a bit which was also very good. Plenty of car parking space so very handy.
We enjoyed our stay. Most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Breakfast was delicious. However, we didn't find the mini fridge til a couple of hours before checkout. It is well hidden. Also we expected terry robes as the website indicates are in every room. When I called the desk clerk said they were only supplied in the king... more
We stayed at this hotel for two days. Furniture was in good condition. We had two queen beds. One bed was too soft and saggy for me, while the other was too firm for my friend. The next night we switched beds, so we got a good sleep that night. Room was very clean. Clean sheets, lots of towels, no... more
Drains did not drain well, rooms not cleaned well, a wake up call at 4:30am we did not ask for.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating,, confortable bed and good breakfast
Arrived late at night, interacted with many staff during our four day visit, without exception, staff were friendly and accommodating. The best free continental breakfast I have encountered-fresh food, crepes and made to order pancakes! Made a difficult visit a real enjoyment.
Bland rooms, walls were stained, good staff, great front desk service, breakfast was so so. Suppose to be a smoke free Hotel, but my bathroom was getting smoked from the vent. Definitely not worth the price they charge, if you want to be close to the Casino stay in the new Sandman across the street, much better. Over-priced bland hotel,... more
We've stayed here a few times over the years. Costs a bit more than some other hotel/motels in the city center but sometimes just have to treat yourself. Front desk staff very friendly & efficient. Room spacious enough with 2 double beds. There was a desk for using computer on and also a small table & chairs which did not... more
This was our second stay at the Treasure Cove. The staff are amazing, helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and well-appointed but some of the furniture is starting to show its age (stained/dirty). The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The toiletries were lovely and it is nice to see REAL cups and glasses, not plastic and... more
Had a great relaxing time and stress free due to quick access to taxis to downtown for dinner.
We had a great stay! Rooms were clean and breakfast was great with waffles and pancakes etc! Kids loved the waterslide and pool and we enjoyed having the casino so close. We would definately stay again.
Stayed here for business for two nights; it was the first time as I usually stay elsewhere. Front desk staff are incredibly friendly and informative. The morning breakfast was ok.....other hotels have meat and scrambled eggs which are better than cold hard boiled. Would be nice to see a protein on the menu. My room was clean but it was... more
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is very comfortable.
We stayed at the Coast for one night and were pleasantly surprised with our hotel. We decided to stay at the Treasure Cove the next night so we could play in the casino and not have to cab it across town back and I'm pretty sure it's the last time we will stay there for a while. Our room at... more
When I arrived at my hotel staff noted that I did not have a reservation. They could not find my reservation but, I insisted that I did made my reservation only I forgot to bring my confirmation number with me. Luckily they had a room available so I was able to stay at the Treasure Cove.

My wife and I were expecting more than just continental breakfast during our stay. Bathroom was a bit too small.
Beautiful hotel, with a comforting aspect. The employees are always super friendly, and very helpful! The rooms are very comforting and relaxing. The Casino is a great way to spend the evening in a wonderful hotel. They have a continental breakfast that was very delightful! TRY THE WAFFLES :) I had a wonderful stay, and would love to stay again... more
We have stayed at Treasure Cove many times over the years but have been disappointed more and more and the main complaint is noise from other guests. The guests are usually in groups with children. When we stayed July 4 was the worst!!! We called the front desk who promptly talked to the loud room next door so they needed... more
Clean, well appointed room with all the necessary amenities. Friendly staff. Nice complimentary breakfast. Felt a bit sorry for the very pleasant receptionist who seemed to be dealing with a difficult booking while three people required her attention at the desk. Maybe an extra person at the desk would help?
Enjoyed everything about this hotel. Pool was great for the kids, casino was attached to hotel and complimentary breakfast was good. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again. No complaints at all.
I stayed here on the last day of a business trip and it was a great note to end the week on. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and the rooms were quite nice. The location seems a bit odd, but I think that's more a product of Prince George's layout than anything else. I also went to the spa, which... more
This hotel was a waste of money, the pool was freezing the room was tiny, there was no microwave....we do a lot of travelling and we got better amenities and nicer rooms for cheaper prices!!
Don't waste your money!!
Had one of my items stolen from my luggage. Only realized this after checking out and returning home.
Service overall was good but ranking it as a 2 because of this theft.
Pleasant front desk and continental breakfast staff
If you like to gamble then this is a good property for you. If you don't I am sure there are better prices and locations for your entertainment value.
What I found is that the 'stay and play' package is a MUCH better deal then the average room rate. It gives you room, breakfast ( one with fairly good options)...

Walking down the hall to the room I knew I had made a horrible mistake.
The hallways are dirty and beat up?
the rooms are so dirty we are afraid we got bedbugs.
The whole place is dirty!!!
No staff, and the ones you find are very unhelpful !
Go some where else and do yourself a favour.
Stayed for one night in early September on a business trip. Rooms are a little dated but clean and the fact that it is attached to the casino and has a great restaurant in Ric's Grill makes it one of the better choices in town.
Security did a good job when they told him to leave. They only act on complaints of other patrons. and there were a few
We were just passing through Prince George and decided to stay at the Treasure Cove Hotel & Casino to celebrate my 60th birthday even though I had seen 3 or 4 star establishments with better rates in the area. . Probably the WORST Casino Customer Service in BC. I have played and lost there many times. One night their Roulette table was out of service so I decided to stay for 10-15 minutes to watch a couple of guys playing Blackjack before I play. I was told to leave by their security guard because I was standing there for too long and the players might complain about it even though I was two meters... more
Checked in room rate was $165 incl Costco discount. While we checked in a customer on the phone was quoted $109 for same room reservation ? Rude explanation by desk attendant. As well room was noisey beside elevator not a great experience.
This hotel is nicely situated whether you are passing through or staying either for pleasure or business. The hotel is connected to a casino if this is your thing. The rooms are standard but they are clean with suffiecient space. A self serve breakfast is included and is situated off the main lobby area. A very good selection of hot... more
My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights, to be exact in room 419. The room is located right by the highway and surprisingly we couldn't really hear the busy street, however we constantly hear a "bang" that come from the washroom, I guess it was a pressure from the old plumbing system. I was happy that they allow me to check out late at 1pm, however we couldn't be able to sleep in since the staff... more
Someone tried coming into room twice they need to make sure they know what they are doing at front desk
I didn't like anything about this hotel. The smell in the room was intolerable, got better once the AC came on. The bed skirts had brown stains and looked like they had never been washed. Beds arent exactly comfortable. For $175 per night I would not stay here again. At least the bathroom was spotless.
I won't be back because the internet at this hotel was horrendous throughout my stay, particularly in the evenings when I couldn't even get webpages to load. I repeatedly notified the front desk staff who would then "reset" the router which did nothing. They then referred me to their phone technical support - where the rep even admitted to me... more

The Treasure cove hotel in prince george has super friendly staff and very clean rooms. The free continental breakfast in the morning was really good. There is lots of parking and also RV parking. It is close to shopping and other restaurants.

Overall happy with the hotel, saw a few "questionable" things re: room cleanliness. Very happy about the aveda sample size toiletries in the rooms!! Rooms were spacious, functional. I hadn't been impressed with Treasure Cove in the past - arrogant staff, average rooms, noisy nights, high prices... but the last time we went as a family I called there more as a 'just see' and was impressed with the staff and got a good rate... but the room was horrible. I spent three nights at the hotel on business and I had a good stay. The place was immaculately clean, check in was simple and fast, check out was the same. Overall, a good hotel, I'll stay there again.
We last traveled to the treasure cove over a year ago, but the rooms were always clean, love the pool & hot tub. Everytime we came to PG this is where we stayed. Have traveled extensively for the past two weeks and this is the only hotel which required a $200 room deposit upon check in. Rooms need updating. I lived in PG for a few years and remember when this place was first built, it was the best in town. Not a dime has been put into this hotel since by the looks of things. Very happy with all. EXCEPT that the swimming pool was usually CLOSED. This is very disappointing, as I am on a motorcycle trip, and I really like to enjoy a swim after driving all day.
Surprisingly quiet, and a "safer" spot to stay than downtown, room was modern and clean but needed a few touch-ups. Hot tub was lukewarm at best and restaurant service in the casino was very poor. I would stay here again but eat elsewhere.
This place as a great location with very secure parking for people with travel trailers. Nice self- serve breakfast area. The restaurant is a little out of line for the type of area this is. Rooms were very comfortable and they were very clean. Good location for shopping downtown or "up-town".
We foiund the hotel an excellent place to stay, room was very clean, staff was courteous and very helpful, good pool, hot tub and waterslide, great continental breakfast. would stay again.
We stayed two days, very child friendly, fantastic value, the poole with slide was a great fun for the children, the breakfast was light but very enjoyable specially the fresh waffle, although a little bit of renovation going on but did not spoil the holiday. Will go there again.
We enjoyed our one night stay. As per my title, the bedding and room was great. We enjoyed the attached casino. Good quality Aveda soap and shampoo in rooms, large TV. Included continental breakfast was also pretty good.
I went to a BC Strata meeting at the Ramada Hotel. We also gambled to no avail!!! :) I loved the hotel and slept like a log both nights of our stay! Everything was perfect and I really couldn't suggest any improvements to make! I am... more
nice place to stay for business, or family. Nice breakfast and great childrens pool with walk in shallow area. Great parking with 24 hr security.
Hotel is nice, but to pricey for what you get in my opimion. Room was no nicer than any other lower priced hotels that I have stayed in. The breakfast ( included in room cost) was fine. Staff was fine, everything was fine, just to pricey. Also all the chips in the vending machine were outdated. A small thing but, adds to the overall experience.
Treasure Cove is a nice hotel. There is an onsite restaurant, Publik which is one of our favorites in PG (aside from the great Indian place at the downtown Ramada). It is also one of the closest to the airport which isnt saying that much since the airport is sorta out of town a bit, but it has NO hotels. So, overall we enjoy the Treasure Cove even though we usually only spend $5-10 gambling-... more
