Hotel staff was friendly, room was clean. Little congested in lobby at breakfast time but expected. Looked like the hotel is located in an industrial area of Dartmouth. Parking the car over night on the lower level was scary since the vehicle is out of sight from a hotel view.

This is our 3rd visit to Dartmouth Travelodge since last year. The motel is well situated. We had a price match from the internet which made it more appealing. We could have had a motel for 25 dollars less, but with the continental breakfast, the difference was much less.

For the area we needed to be it was excellent as we were down visiting family, so this place was in the middle of everyone. Stayed at Travelodge Suites while visiting Halifax. We had a King Suite. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Decent breakfast and excellent coffee available 24/7. Great hotel for the price - will stay here again and recommend it to friends.

The hotel staff were very helpful. The lack of a restaurant and a nearby grocery store was a little annoying but breakfast was good. A little difficult to find due to inadequate signage.

Hard to locate Hotel

A sign should be positioned on the side of the building so it is visible from the intersection as you turn to the building. Existing sign is not visible from the street below. Our GPS brought us to the location, but we still thought we were in the wrong location because we saw no sign. We only saw the back side of a building not labeled.

Nice hotel, nothing to complain about.

The hotel is located in a bit of an odd location, behind a massive U-Haul facility. This seemed a bit odd at first but then we realized that the hotel is hidden and tucked away from any traffic or residential areas, so it was very quiet at night because of this. It just made it a little awkward to find the first time we were looking for it.

We were very comfortable at this Travelodge. It was one of the cleanest hotels we've stayed at.

Convenient and cost effective

Enjoyed the stay. Staff was helpful. We stayed one the first floor and the room was very close to the breakfast area- and it was a little noisy if you wanted to sleep in past 8. Would stay there again.

Best value for money that I found in the area

The staff made my stay. They helped me check in early by switching some reservations around (11am) when I arrived desperate for sleep after a grueling flight and A/C repair work was making lots of rooms inaccessible that morning. They also helped me find the best local food (within walking distance), and were just generally pleasant and helpful.

Perfect suite when traveling with toddler

Out in the Industrial Area

The rooms were spacious and clean but the location is difficult to access and even with 5 months notice we received room facing a tree. The windows did not open. They has screws in the tracks to prevent them from opening.

Great family hotel

Really liked the separate bedroom with king sized bed. It was great for a family. We all had or own space. Very clean and the free breakfast was nice. Parking wasn't a problem for us at all and the staff was friendly.

Recent stay

We were pleased with our visit. Only suggestion is better arrangement with eggs for breakfast. Those prepackaged ones had a sour taste that even ketchup would not cure.

Hard to find

Over all the experience was good. There were two area that concerned me. One under the control of the hotel was that the bed was not firm and when sleeping in it it folded like a V and was not comfortable. The second was it was n attached room and the other party keep tying to open the door and the noise was continual until midnight.
