Friendly and helpful staff. Attached restaurant served great food at reasonable prices. Maintenance/renovations in progress, but did not detract from stay. Nice to see improvements in the works.

Loved all the new renos of the motel and we knew the area as we have stayed there before. Have only one complaint - we were a party of 3 and every day we had to ask for another set of towels. Wasn't a big deal but a little annoying. However, we would stay there again if in the area. Thanks to the front desk, they were great.

This is an older motel. It is 2 stories with no elevator. Had to carry suitcases up stairs. The room was very small. Queen bed pushed up against wall on one side. Quiet and a good location

It was a very comfortable stay and the room had a kitchenette. The pool was very warm. However, the continental breakfast was very sparse and they are doing some renovations near the lobby.

Great staff, but the hotel should change it's rating to a high end motel. The carpet in the rooms is nasty green and dirty. Nice hotel. Close to where we needed to be

When I first booked this room it was with expedia and I noticed after it was all done that I had booked a smoking room. Right away I called the hotel to see if I can change the room and they were able to help me. I will definitely book a room with them again.

My favorite

When I'm on the road I don't want to miss my gym training so I love this Travellodge. Great gym upstairs, comfortable beds (old TVs). The staff is always very accommodating too.

Weekend stay

I liked this hotel because of the full gym and the fitness classes offered there. The hotel itself is somewhat dated, however it was very clean. Did not really have too much to do with the hotel staff, but they were pleasant when I did. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Not as great as I thought

The hotel had a distinct "old" smell. Although it wasn't necessarily unclean, the outdated carpet made it look so. There was only one vending machine in the whole hotel and it didn't have all of the items in it. The 4.3/5 rating was definitely misleading.

Great service

We had come into town for a wedding and the reception desk had the room ready to go early and let us check in. The room was nice and clean and we had a great stay. The continental breakfast was in a lovely room and the staff member working in there was on top of everything. We would definitely stay again.

The room seemed clean although outdated. I went to the gym which turned out to be the public county gym, it was also outdated and dingy compared to the hotel gyms I am used to going to. Hotel undergoing renovations in lobby. Rooms were pretty clean but needed updating. Our room had a very musty smell. In the middle of the night, were awoke by a mouse in our room, so not a very restful experience. Glad we were only there 1night. Breakfast was ok-had a decent selection of foods.

Money well spent

I have stayed at this hotel on two different occations. The main floor rooms are more up to date, while the rooms on the second floor need to be refreshed. Pool and spa areas are above average for the most part-clean and all in operation.

Under renovation but a decent place to stay

Quite noisy between rooms and REALLY noisy between floors but the rooms are relatively large and clean. Comfortable beds. Nice place to walk dogs out the back (it's like a park). Front desk staff are pleasant and courteous. Continental breakfast is fine if you eat wheat (I don't).

Our stay was very enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and so comfortable! We were there visiting family and the front desk were very helpful in giving us directions and providing us with a map of the area. Loved the gym and breakfast had healthy options. Even though there are renovations in progress, my stay was quite nice. The hallways do have dated wall treatments but the hotel is clean with very friendly staff. Pool area appears a little sparse but is still clean. Exercise facility is quite large and well appointed for a hotel. Wireless internet signal was weak in my room but still worked well. Minutes away from Port Dover beach and many other attractions- Kelsey's on site, Dairy Queen across the street, clean comfortable large rooms, staff were extremely friendly.
