Friendly staff and very approachable. Our room was very clean. Pet friendly is great! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone! Indoor pool is great. They also have some exercise equipment. There is also a wonderful on site restaurant that is 100% peanut free.
The desk clerk was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean. Everything worked. The room was was well stocked. The room was a excellent valuefor the cost.
One of the best night sleeps this year yet, awesome people at front, the towels are cute swans, clean, no bugs, smells fresh. My friend came from the states by train and we wanted to crash for the night before a 4 hour trip back home. Parking is good
rooms clean staff friendly and helpful the Restaurant was excellent gd food and friendly staff
Staff were helpful, charming and any requests were fulfilled. Got the chance to have breakfast at the restaurant on site and enjoyed it. Room was clean and loved the cleaning.
overall the stay was comfortable and the location worked for us. Was a big baseball tournament weekend, and many parties going on at the hotel, but once the doors were closed were not bothered by the noise at all. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
We had a great time staff was amazing pool was very refreshing our room was clean and the price was good I would recommend this hotel to anyone thats looking for a quite little place with a great pool then I would stay here
The rooms were not new but comfortable, very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They gladly reimbursed the tourism taxes after I paid the room. There was no maid service our third night there but other than that, the pool was great to have although we only used the outdoor one. We would have liked to have a little fridge but Overall, great experience.
Absolutely spectacular - clean, friendly, convenient to bus, beautiful pools and hot tub and great restaurant.
Our room was ok but the beds were very hard and not comfortable, both bedspreads had burn holes in them and the beds were not made nicely. After we had checked in I asked what time we would be able to use the pool as it was all in darkness and the girl on the front desk informed me it had been closed by the health department and would not reopen until Sunday or Monday, I then asked her why we... more
last minute booking at an excellent price. Close to main attractions.
The empty room next door had the alarm clock going off at midnight and the staff were very slow at engaging a resolution. The room was not very clean, had not been vacuumed. Woke up early to get out of there. Would never satay there again.
Good choice at decent price.. Not so close to the falls, but very good hotel for the price..
Room clean. Pool/whirlpool were fairly big. Close to the falls
We arrived at 10 pm and there were people loitering outside and others partying and very loud. The room was not as expected, stains on carpet and the door lock was broken. We almost left because we were afraid to spend the night, not a great environment for families.
We set room temperature to setting we desire when we return it has been changed, had to wait for temp to return to desired setting! Also bathroom only had one of 4 lightbulbs working.
We only needed a place to sleep so for the price it was great. The staff was very help and friendly.
The room smelled like urine and mold the door had been kicked in and had no phone. When they finally moved us to a new room it smelled a little better. We were unable to use anything that was advertised I am highly disappointed in the hotel and false promises I am waiting to see if I can get a refund .
the room smelled of smoke although it was non-smoking. carpeting was dirty and room smelled musty and old. another guest complained of the headboard being dismantled and screws on the floor. another guest was complaining about a window screen not being able to be opened.. other guest were coming in late and were loud and noisy banging the doors. the hotel desk clerk was not very friendly.
Outdoor pool full of green water, that was my view from my apartment. You expect the list
Very old hotel, in desperate need of repair. Old rooms, broken lands, poor lighting, terrible beds
we were disappointed to find out we could not use the pool before 9am, we are early risers and wanted to take a morning swim before we started our day, most hotels we stay at pools are open by 6 or 7 am for those that want their exercise before they get on with their day. The staff that was on when we checked in was very friendly and helpful the morning staff was very rude and not accomodating... more
WiFi hardly worked. they did not have sufficient pillows. toilet dirty. faces stuck.on the.back and.not property cleaned.
We were very disappointed with this Travelodge. Stayed in the only room with a king size bed and the hotel did not have king sized sheets! Room had a musty smell, thought that breakfast was included but apparently not on the weekend.
not worth $150.00 a night!..the most I would pay would by $50.00!
Very pleasant staff always apologize for late cleaning as they have too much on their hands.
We reserved 2 rooms with 3 queen size bed. When we arrived, receptionist gave us 1 room with 3 queen size bed and the other room with 2 queen size bed. We had 4 adults and 6 children. So it was very hard to stay there with 2 queen size bed. We said we booked for 3 queen size bed in each room. The receptionist said that there weren't any guarantee for it. After making a reservation and drove for... more
Ice machines cannot keep up to demand.windows and doors in need of repair. Carpets are stained and outdated.
Was in Niagara for a ball tournament and this hotel meet our needs.
The room was dirty, the pool too cold too swim in, hot tub had a yellow stain. Expedia said we would get a complementary breakfast but they were charging. Too far from the falls. Parties went on until 4:00 am we did not want to spend much time in the room. Not enough parking to accommodate all the guests we had to park in a non-parking space. over all not good would rather sleep in a tent in... more
We were passing thru the area and needed a place to sleep for the night. The staff was very friendly but the hotel was not maintained or clean, and not just the common area but also our room. The indoor swimming pool area was also disgusting. We were too repulsed by the surroundings to even attempt to eat the complimentary breakfast the next morning. The hotel served a purpose but there is no... more
When we arrived the hotel did not have the room we booked on Expedia- room with 3 queen beds, but offered us two adjoining rooms instead. The hotel was very busy. Breakfast was understaffed and did not provide a good variety.
The hotel stinks, thecream was spoiled for the coffee, the elevater stinks so much
The hotel was okay, rooms could have been cleaner. The coffee pot in the room was not cleaned but was replaced with a clean on after we took it to the front desk. Overall I would not stay at this hotel again.
The experience was horrible. Online the pictures looked nice and reviews not so bad. We got there and the rooms had a horrible smell, like a humidity thing. I couldn't breath and I'm allergic so it was horrible. The towels were supposed to be white, but they were yellowish. The sheets looked really bad too. I had to go to Walmart and buy towels and sheets to stay there. The next morning I woke... more
Pitiful towels. Not too clean. Bed uncomfy. You'd have better tv if you had none. Not even a mini fridge and microwave.
We booked for a non smoking room. The room smelled liked an ashtray. It was terrible smelly. There was even an ashtray in the room. Why? I phoned and they sent someone to spray the room. That lasted for about a half an hour then the stink was back. The milk for the coffee was a liquid creamer and was rotten. It needed to be refrigerated. Expedia advertised free breakfast but they said Expedia... more
Right from the beginning the staff was arrogant and rude I found our room is very dirty I found spoiled milk underneath the bed ,in a baby bottle I would not recommend this hotel to my enemy!!!!
This hotel is over priced and under maintained. Furniture was falling apart holes in the walls. Carpets stained with who knows what. For the 110 I paid I would have been better off in the parking lot. Not to mention the complimentary breakfast wow what a sham
the hotel wasn't very clean. no blow dryer in the bathroom. I booked the room the day of, called in to check if everything was ok. the guy on the phone said yes. when we showed up to the hotel about 5 hrs after the booking and confirmation, we had to wait nearly an hour to access our rooms as they were STILL being cleaned up!! check in was at 3p.m. we showed up around 7 and still had to wait!
The room was dirty, the room had dirty towels, the room had dirty linens, the room had wet carpets, the air condition didn't work, the coffee pot was dirty, the door for bathroom had a whole, the food was terrible, the service was terrible, and no lights in the stairs up to the room, it was dark and not safe.
The room was clean but the bed was very small ask for a queen but it was more like a double bed and one of the bed side lights was not working make the room a little dark
Towels in need of replacing badly, and beds need proper making, but otherwise comfortable enough for $ spent. Staff really friendly.
I didn't like this hotel at all. The staff was very rude. First we didn't get the rooms together. We reached there at 6 pm. The rooms weren't ready. When I requested the manager said ohh we dont know you wanted 2 rooms together. When we reached the room. It wasnt properly cleaned. The beer cap was on the bed. The bathrooms were horrible. Next day we went for breakfast which hotels.com said was... more
Horrendous, disgusting, horrible, rip off, nothing functions or works, staff are incredibly rude! Rooms are disgusting!!!! Overall worst hotel experience of my life! Will never repeat my stay again....do not recommend it to anyone else either!!!!!
We stayed for one night, staffs were good and it was worth the money we paid for.
This is one of the worst hotel we ever been, room have a strange smell, blankets have holes in it, the couch bed was broken. Internet wifi did not work all the time and very slow.
very bad service looks like you are in a hostel not a hotel, staff not serious, not polite, not educated, don't know how to deal and solve client's problem and issues, not clean hotel, big regret to go to this hotel
This was the worst experience of my life. My 6 friends and i booked a girls weekend. 2 rooms cuz there was 6 of us. We paid $180 per room after taxes. After we checked in, the keys to one of the rooms would not work. Told receptionist named emmanual, said go wait in our 2nd rm &will give you a key in half an hr. 2 hrs l8r stl nutin. By the time we decided to give up on waiting there was a... more

hotel room was dirty and had a bad odour,no security,no card needed to access pool area from inside or outside.
Terribly outdated. It seemed like the room was not cleaned at all. Dried-up white fluid splatter on the floor and walls in the bathroom. You could see mold forming under the carpet and wallpaper by the heart-shaped bath next to the bed. We found hairs between the sheets. Part of the air conditioning unit was broken - the plastic facing kept falling off. The window was wide open and the... more
The whole place reeks like eggs, service sucks like heck when I asked about their location, and also they didn't even clean the rooms until midnight. Wish I could give it no stars
Booked hotel last minute as "surprise (?) special of the day". Name of hotel and location not revealed, only the price. Was not aware that we had booked a "smoking room" until the door was opened by an employee, because the key they gave us didn't work. The stench of cigarettes in the room was horrific.!!! Although our booking was pre-paid and no refunds, a kind employee at the front desk,... more
It was clean and comfortable. other than some permenent carpet stains. i will and would stay here again.
I have stayed at this hotel for many years, however it has been going downhill steadily for the last year. I stayed for 3 days just recently and I'm sorry to say the following but it must be said in order for this hotel to get back to the way it was. First of all the pool was not working, it was cold. The room was very smelly and the sink was clogged. Not only was the sink clogged but the... more
We booked direct and used the 15% discount voucher from their home page. There is an indoor and outdoor pool and free wirless internet in the lobby area. Very clean rooms of a basic standard but can't fault them. Free parking and based on Lundys Lane. Lundys Lane is home to all the best places to eat in Niagara and the hotel is a short walk from the very good Mick and Angelos. We paid $180 for... more
For what I paid at a hotel not far from the major attractions, it was a fantastic value. Not luxury, but not bad. I would stay there again in a minute.
The security lock on the door was missing, as was the lid to the ice bucket and the plug to the sink.Though specified in my reservation, there was no coffee maker. I requested one several times and was informed that they are on order to replace broken ones. The desk clerk Mon. Aug. 12 was not pleasant. The clerk on duty Tues., Aug. 13 was courteous and apologetic for the problems we incurred. We... more
Found the bonaventure easy to find good parking, the staff were very attentive and helpful, the rooms were very clean and tidy the wirlpool bath in the room was a novelty which had to be tried.Although not in the centre of town it was only a short cab ride to town.On the whole you get what you pay for with the Bonaventure. you get much more.Chris and Jan on a visit from England.
Pool was dirty, hot tub and sauna were inoperative, not as advertised. Black mold growing above the vanity. Cigarette burns on bed spread and tub, in a non-smoking room.
U get much more in a low price. Its close to the falls, u get free parking, pool heart shaped tub in the room.
When we got to the hotel it was very cold outside. We would have to walk outside to get to our room. The woman at the front desk decided to get us another room at the same great rate we got by booking ahead of time. It was awesome. Made for a very nice stay. We will stay there again in the future. Thank you
This was a reasonably priced hotel and it was clean. The hotel had two pools and a hot tub which was an added bonus for the value.
I spent three nights in this hotel. The hallways of the hotel were very hot and smelly. Our room was on the 3rd floor so we had to go out on the balcony to get to our room the balcony was covered with cigarette butts, beer cans and beer bottles. We took the stairs on several occasions and the trash collected at the bottom of the stairs for the duration of our visit. It was very hot so you can... more
What a disappointment! We used to stay at this hotel years ago and would not stay any place else. That has now changed! On this visit, you could tell how the new owners have let the place go. The rooms look like something from the 1950's nothing has been updated except the walls in the bathroom. The boxsprings were filthy and stained, matress had to be at least 10 years old or older. The... more
The staff were attentive and helpful, but the rooms need some very serious updating. The carpeting was stained and worn. The bedding was shabby. The sinks were scratched and old.Not the hotel's fault, but the neighbours were up, shouting and fighting at 1 am. Kind of scary.I realize, for the price, we were taking a risk. Our expectations were too high for the cost. Next time we will increase... more
“For a price we paid, it was pretty decent. The breakfast was complementary, so there were not that many choices.”
outdoor pool was broken and never reopened during our stay itssame if we said the opposit

We had a really nice hotel room except that the smoking room smelled bad because of the smokers, but that was to be expected. The staff was very nice to us too. The location was perfect, it was just like home and then some extra places to eat that we have never heard of, so that helped us be a little more comfortable with where we were. (not at home, but still at home) The hotel was also the... more
We went to Niagara to visit Marineland and of course, the falls. The hotel is located a bit far, hence we had to take the car. We never tried the shuttle, but we def. recommend it, specially during the weekend and holidays (traffic and hard to find parking). I've been to Niagara more than a dozen times and the hotel is just as good as the other hotels I've stayed at. The first night, we were in... more
Nice, clean, quiet hotel, several miles from Falls area. Staff is very helpful.
“What a sad experience! Check in was quick and easy, other than that this excuse for a hotel is sad. 3 stories & very run down, door lock was broken, door jamb showed signs of forced entry (repair job was 3rd rate) worn out nasty carpeting, sink vanity stained, shower stall was clean but plumbing old and loose. 2 fiberglass sinks cracked - wallpaper peeling off walls, cigarette burns in carpet.... more
“Good only if you are a price-conscious budget traveler. The staff was kind and courteous, but the rooms were not ready when we checked-in. They offered a different room, but were not very clean.. Location was not close to the falls, but okay if you can live with several minutes of driving to the falls.”
