The lounge has already been refurbished and looks nice. The main entrance is closed for updating/improvement were clearly in a room that had not yet been updated, but it was clean, very large, comfortable, and a good price. It could use the upgrade, though.
When we booked the hotel, we were not told the hotel was under construction! Also it is advertise you get a hot breakfast, but because of the construction we got a cold breakfast! We did not find any of this out until we checked in!
The staff ever so friendly, willing to help with anything I needed and the room was very clean. Very happy with the service. The only thing I would change is the time for breakfast. It's too early and ends at 9:30am. When you want to sleep in you miss breakfast.
Enjoyed everything about the stay except the night desk clerk. Waited at the desk for several minutes, then spent several more on the phone trying to contact him. Other than that, very nice stay.
Rennovations needed, hotel very old. Continental breakfast not as advertised, very minimal.
We booked the room on business and were very surprised we were given a suite. After being there for about 1/2 an hour we received a call for the desk asking if everything was okay. The breakfast was quite adequate with good variety. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others and stay there again.
We were 4 adults staying 2 nights in a room with 1 king size bed and 1 sofa bed (double). The room was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast consisted of cereals, hard boiled eggs, toast, bagels, fruit, etc.. The hotel is under renovation so it is not perfect, but the renovation did not hinder our enjoyment of the stay. The breakfast provided used to be a hot breakfast but... more
Would have appreciated knowing in advance the hotel was undergoing renovations. Certainly won't break the bank but room was $5 more than once itinerary was received. Was told a receipt would come from expedia.....have not received.
I arrived at the hotel a bit earlier than the check in time. I asked if the room was ready they said no. I asked if I could leave my bags and come back later. Instead they upgraded me to a 2 room suite with a Jacuzzi that was ready at no additional charge. Needless to say I was very happy with the whole experience.
Close to HWY 401, easy to get to and near several nice restaurants.
Not the most modern hotel but a nice clean room and comfy bed. Good value for the price
During our stay the hotel was under construction. While it limited access to the doors closest to our room, we were very impressed. Even though construction was happening daily one floor above us, I saw one construction worker and never heard them. They were surprisingly quiet and very discrete. My 6 month old daughter was louder. Our room was big and clean. The hotel staff were kind and... more
*** While on an appointment , I received a phone call from my out of town guest , telling me , he was not allowed to enter the accommodations I pre-paid for , without an e-mail from me !!! I was @ the spa , unable to comply and needless to say ,, I was livid !!! *** This was our 3rd., stay there since Nov., He was easily recognizable and greeted friendly as a known returning guest ,,, then came... more
fine value for the money when renovations completed
we understood work needed to be done when we got the first notice about water shut off from 10-noon but the next day it was to be shut off again from 10-2p.m, and they turned it off at 9a.m. instead... also due to maintainance, the breakfast buffet was limited - but adequate.staff was accommodating, but we had to request the toiletries which they advertised as provided . Room had a smell to it.
7:30 the very loud banging begins on Saturday morning
even with construction on site we still had a great stay.
good location - good breakfast even tho under construction - quiet place
The hotel was being remodeled, so some of the standard amenities were unavailable. No offer was made to reimburse us (we paid in advance). 2nd year in a row this has happened. We were disappointed.
The rom was surprisingly large with a living room, king bed and microwave etc. It is all a bit dated and seemed dark but if you want a reasonable room at a very good rate you can't complain.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though it was only 1 night. Would definitely stay at the Travelodge London again
They definitely do not spend any money to upgrade the furniture in their rooms. They still had 2 CRT televisions - duhhhhh. The furniture was old and slightly damaged. It was clean though and the staff was nice.
Large room with a king sized bed, and a sitting area. Hotel was under renovations but did not affect our stay. Quiet and comfortable.
The motel was under construction. We had to listen to concrete being drilled until after 7pm.When we had our showers in the morning there was no hot water. We would not recommend this establishment to anyone.
Our recent stay was for two evenings, and although there was a lacrosse tournament and hockey tournaments staying at this hotel, we had children on our floor but did not hear any noise in the evening at all. The hotel is currently being totally renovated, but we did not hear anything, although there was a faint paint odour in the hallways. We did encounter renovation workers in the hallways but... more
The hotel is getting renovated and it's a good thing because it's pretty dated and run down. The staff was lovely, the rooms were fine BUT the AC did NOT work at all. Thankfully some of the nights were cool so we could keep the window open but most nights were too warm for my liking. My boyfriend and I... more
We stayed at this hotel because our son and daughter-in-law were having their first baby. The location was great for us....close to the hospital and close to their home.
The hotel staff were very friendly, it was economical and the jetted tub was just what my stiff muscles needed. We were at the hotel for three nights and our stay was very comfortable.
good, clean and in good condition, friendly staff
It was a very good stay, I will recommend it to my friends.
I was travelling with my husband and a potential client & his wife to tour agricultural facilities around the area. I didn't really want to spend the day driving around so was on my own. I don't particularly enjoy driving when I don't know where I'm going so it was really great to find out there was a huge variety of things to do within walking distance (if you like to walk). We didn't pick... more
Nice hotel, a little out dated but good for the price
The hotel was great, the staff were very gracious in one word the best place stayed so far in our travel
Construction workers should not be mingling with the guests, guest room areas should not be accessible to/by construction workers or construction supplies deliveries or movement. Clean vs. dirty areas not kept separate. Breakfast was very good, could have changed sausage links to other meat product every other day. Coffee was made very, very weak, almost clear.
i was pleased that the evening i stayed there it was quiet and i was able to get to sleep and stay a sleep for the night. i would certainly stay there again.
Although the staff were OK, this hotel was bad. The hallways and elevator were cluttered with furniture, carts and and garbage for each of the 2 days and nights we stayed. The TV's are still the old tube type!
I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and up to date the hotel is. Compared to other hotels the size I felt the rooms were very big and the layout was great too the staff were efficient, pleasant and had a great sense of humour. Overall great experience.
Highly satisfied. Accessible, clean, up to date, functional, full breakfast included.
Stumbled on hotel. Rates were great and very close to shopping, restaurants and other facilities.
Hotel staff were great, I found the tons could be a bit cleaner, especially in the tub. The hotel needs a facelift in the rooms but for the price I'm not complaining, especially with free breakfast. Great for business or last minute plans, wouldn't go there for my holiday getaway though.
The room was very comfortable and clean with lots of space. We stayed for 4 nights when in town for a wedding. The screened window opened for outside air when the weather warmed!! A great plus! Heater worked well to quickly took off the chill on the cool evenings. The staff were very friendly. A nice hot breakfast was available each morning downstairs with lots from which to choose.
Hotel staff really friendy. Breakfast was great. Nothing fancy about hotel but if u want a good night sleep for a good price with clean room this is the place
very good every time we go to London we stay in this hotel cause of the location, cleanliness of the proprety and the good price.
I stay here two to three times a year and can't really complain. Staff Is very nice hotel is decent and the location is perfect.
This was a surprise. And a pleasant one I must say. This hotel was close to the things I wanted to do and places I wanted to go. I heard nothing but horror stories from the people I met during my stay while they were at places not too far from this location. This place I recommend highly and will return to.
Although one reviews on here are bad, I experienced none of that. Although some things are indeed dated in the room, everything was clean the towels were fresh and the bed was comfortable. There was a fridge and microwave, which I did not use but would obviously be handy for some. The iron and ironing board I DID need and I use as I was on business. Considering the price, I couldn't ask for... more
Friendly staff, very clean, very nice room with fridge and Microwave ove clean bath room and I was very much impressed with the lay out of the room with sofa and coffee pot
The staff is very good, room was very clean and breakfast was good with a couple of choices. The main issue was the smelling of smoke everywhere, even in my room which was supposed to be non-smoking, smoking free would be a very good call for this place. There were a lot o noise outside the room and also the... more
This hotel is a little dated, but it seems to be always improving, breakfast is Ok coffee is good, bacon and eggs (or sasuage) depending on which day it is. staff is friendly will to help with any needs.
The blankets covering the bed were covered in what looked like dried snot. There prostitutes and drug dealers loitering outside the hotel. Probably has something to do with the rub in tug 50 feet in front of the main entrance. Dont bring children here.... Upon going out to smoke twice I was circled by a pimp and someone clearly hopped... more
I don't understand people that knock this hotel. The location is convenient, the rates are great, the staff are the best, the (free) breakfast (in a glass-enclosed sunroom) is plentiful (all you can eat), the hot items (eggs, bacon, sausages) are hot, fresh fruit, all kinds of cereals and juices, free coffee 24/7, the rooms are large and clean, the... more
Clean and cheap. Enough amenities to make a quick stop while driving through worth it. Fridge, microwave, clean bed and bath, hot and varied breakfast, quick and friendly check-in and check-out. What else do you need for an overnight? Thanks to trip advisor for another great recommendation.
I have stayed at this Travel Lodge a few times now and Always a great bunch of people running it. Would recommend staying here to anyone.
The facilities were very clean, the friendly front desk staff made me feel very welcome while checking me in. The extremely comfortable spacious room had a small fridge & a microwave for my convenience. They offered a pretty good hot breakfast with great selections. Great price! Excellent value!
Always enjoy staying at Travelodge. Nice rooms, great facilities, wonderful staff. Oh yeah, the price is great too!
We spent three nights in this hotel, with our dog in tow. The room was large and clean, hot breakfast buffet in the morning, $59 per night an absolute steal in London (including the pet-friendly rate), great water pressure in the shower (my pet peeve), friendly staff, and, Nicole the manager on duty, a hyper, friendly, helpful, good-looking lady. Good... more
Stayed at the Travelodge for one night just to do some shopping...was very easy to find right off the 401. Close by to shopping, restaurants, etc. with easy access in and out of parking lot. Pleasantly surprised to find a hot continental breakfast in the morning with a good selection of... more
This hotel is really nice - beautiful lobby, cookies, great breakfast/lounge area, very friendly woman at the front desk. The room was very clean. Some knicks on the furniture but nothing offensive. Laundry facilities at a very reasonable price too.
It was my first time using Travelodge. The location was excellent. Close to the highway and downtown. Noise was minimal. The beds were comfortable, good quality. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
I recently stayed in a suite for the fifth or sixth time in the last 2 years. I found, as always, the stay to be pleasant, drama free and reasonably priced for what you get.
The hotel is a little older, and showing its age, with the odd cracked tile or chipped piece of furniture, but is always spotless, and...

This hotel has clean up to date rooms, great service, a good hot breakfast and a great price for a mid level hotel. This was our third stay and our family of four will continue to make this our overnight stop in London. It is close to sopping restaurants and the 401 highway.
We stayed at this hotel for work. We really like the all you can eat hot Breakfast. The regular coffee taste could be better.
As Always, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the complimentary buffet breakfast. Whenever we are in London and require overnight accommodations the Travelodge is are choice.
Spent three nights in a suite room with separate King bedroom, kitchenette, and Queen pullout couch in open area for under $80 per night. Bath included Jacuzzi tub. Very comfortable for our family of five. Included hot/cold breakfast with good selection of items daily.
Free wifi.
Only had one issue and that is the AC/Heat unit is located in bedroom...

Hotel & room were dated & needed to be renovated, very drab. The room was clean & quiet, but the door needed to be slammed to lock. It was a nice place to stay at. Affordable price, nice and clean. But having a crime scene in the hotel. Wasn't nice.
The hotel is off of the Hwy 401 and very close to White Oaks Mall. Everything we needed was very close. There is a Tim Hortons beside the hotel.
Staff were friendlier then most.
Room furnishings need updating as some were worn.
the location is convenient enough....even though I went in 2 other driveways b4 I found the Correct 1
very dated looking interiors
bed was lumpier than week old oatmeal
We had a very pleasant stay, Whenever we are in London we stay here. We are very pleased that the hot breakfast is back.
Booked our room Saturday afternoon, for Saturday night, on BOOKING. om. I went to check in & was told they were overbooked because the manager hadn't closed the Booking.com account. The wonderful woman @ the desk, Eden, then told me she had already called the Days Inn down the street - & they would honor our booking.com price! She then... more
If you are looking for a cheap hotel, and do not mind the older type of room, then this is for you. Style is really old. But rooms are specious. Bed is old, but surprisingly, still comfy. Staff is great.
The hotel was nice, clean, very friendly staff. It does not have a pool, but other than that it has everything you need. The only little issue we had was that we have booked a "sleepy bear" room (traveling with a 9 years old) and we've got a regular room when checked-in. Since we were there for only one night we didn't make a big deal out of it, but staff should be more careful with the... more
Hotel was very clean, quiet and beds were comfortable. Nice variety for breakfast. Close to restaurants and highway.
Have a reservation and my son found a lower rate - called to have the rate reduced before I get there and they would not honour the best rate guarantee! Very poor service even before I got there. This is very frustrating - out of country CRS who has no idea what customer service means!
Stayed here July 2013 on a Friday night as we were passing through on our way home to Kincardine the next day during a mid week summer road trip.
Weather was very hot and humid. Room was cool, quiet, and had a comfy bed. Window view from second floor had a large Catalpa tree. Very pretty.

We've stayed here in the past and have always been pleased. Reasonable price, just a short ride up Wellington to the city center, and easy on and off from 403. We were disappointed to find that they no longer offer their hot breakfast, but other free food items on offer were fine...and the solarium setting (with no blaring TV!) is a nice place to start the day.
the room was nice and big, more like a suite , everything was clean ,the bed was comfortable

This is a very nice hotel and good value for your money.
The rooms are clean and comfortable.
The breakfast is good considering the price of the room.
The room was average, but clean. At check in and check out, however, the hostess was stressed and not especially friendly. Will probably not stay there again.
After some initial problems with an incompetent male of the management staff regarding an early check in, I talked to the manager. She gave us an upgrade to a King bed. Upon arrival, we walked into a very nice VIP SUITE, complete with the King size bed, living room, jacuzzi, marbled bathroom, and even a robe! The room was clean,... more
My room was clean and nicely decorated. The hotel was quiet and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I felt comfortable and safe. We stayed here for one night while passing through London. We got a really, really good deal on this hotel on discount hotel site. It’s not a fancy hotel - no pool, older, but well maintained. Overall, this hotel is clean and tidy and offers comfortable accommodations. That said, the customer service aspect needs a bit of work. People were very present. The quality of the hotel was poor. I will not stay there again. Wall paper, furniture, and washroom etc are 30 yrs old. Very poor value for what I paid. Sorry to have to say this.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and I had a good sleep. You could hear noise through the walls. My neighbours were loud speaking people. Breakfast was adequate and included in the price. Close to the 401, 14 minutes from downtown.
We just wanted a clean place to sleep that didn't cost an arm & a leg while visiting some family. This hotel is clean, cheap, and the hotel staff very friendly. We have stayed at this hotel several times. Usually we do not have any problems. This time we had no heat in our room and there were plumbing problems in another room, but the pipes ran through our walls.
This was a clean, decently located hotel very close to the 401 and to Whtie Oaks Mall which was great for shopping. This was our first stay at this location. Check in was easy and the room was nice. While the furniture is older, it is decent and the room was very clean with no odors. I stayed here with two friends while we were having a mini girls weekend in London. I thought the hotel was alright for us as we were just using it for sleeping. There were some good points as well as bad that I found. When we first got there a half an hour after the check in time, we were... more

I stayed there for about 10 days. I am very satisfied in all respect.
Very clean and spacious. Micro and mini fridge included. Wireless internet in the room worked flawlessly. Easy, quick access to parking areas from any room within the hotel. Very friendly staff, comforable spacious rooms and a nice breakfast room but ... some funny red marks on our skin noted at the end of our stay! Everything looked clean but the spots sure looked like bedbug bites. Experts say it could happen in any hotel. Beware.
Easy in and out. Appreciate the non-smoking. Love the breakfast nook and always enjoy the hot breakfast. That is a real treat.
“Hotel can def be a 1 star hotel. It shouldn't be a 2 star hotel.”
We got in late ,around midnight and we were well received by the staff. Everything very good. One note for improvement is the breakfast, eggs and sausage were overcooked and dry. The breakfast service was fast and courteous.
I stayed for four days at this location over the Thanksgiving weekend and it was great.
Very close to everything, shopping, restaurants. Nice to have a hot breakfast included
It was ok, nothing overly fantastic. I had the room with hot breakfast and forgot my coupon pass and they made me go back to my room to get it. Other than that it was ok.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfast included a generous portion of hot breakfast and vast variety of cereal, fruit and juices, well worth the extra $5. per day.
Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is about 10 minutes from downtown London. Room is spacious. The breakfast includes a hot entrees.
The room was absolutely perfect, clean, and most anything we left at home could be gotten from the front desk. Very pleasant staff, always willing to help. When I was looking for a hotel to go visit my friend, this one got really good reviews on Expedia so I went with it. I wasn't disappointed.
