The lounge has already been refurbished and looks nice. The main entrance is closed for updating/improvement were clearly in a room that had not yet been updated, but it was clean, very large, comfortable, and a good price. It could use the upgrade, though.

Under construction

When we booked the hotel, we were not told the hotel was under construction! Also it is advertise you get a hot breakfast, but because of the construction we got a cold breakfast! We did not find any of this out until we checked in!

Great experience!!!

The staff ever so friendly, willing to help with anything I needed and the room was very clean. Very happy with the service. The only thing I would change is the time for breakfast. It's too early and ends at 9:30am. When you want to sleep in you miss breakfast.

Nice hotel under renovation

Enjoyed everything about the stay except the night desk clerk. Waited at the desk for several minutes, then spent several more on the phone trying to contact him. Other than that, very nice stay.

The "room" we booked was a suite!

We booked the room on business and were very surprised we were given a suite. After being there for about 1/2 an hour we received a call for the desk asking if everything was okay. The breakfast was quite adequate with good variety. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others and stay there again.

Worst hotel stay ever. Place is under construction. Not even a sign on the building to help find it. Furniture is very tired. Something in the room like dust or solvent odours in carpet that induced headache and plugged sinuses.

Would have appreciated knowing in advance the hotel was undergoing renovations. Certainly won't break the bank but room was $5 more than once itinerary was received. Was told a receipt would come from expedia.....have not received.

Saturday night

I arrived at the hotel a bit earlier than the check in time. I asked if the room was ready they said no. I asked if I could leave my bags and come back later. Instead they upgraded me to a 2 room suite with a Jacuzzi that was ready at no additional charge. Needless to say I was very happy with the whole experience.

we understood work needed to be done when we got the first notice about water shut off from 10-noon but the next day it was to be shut off again from 10-2p.m, and they turned it off at 9a.m. instead... also due to maintainance, the breakfast buffet was limited - but adequate.staff was accommodating, but we had to request the toiletries which they advertised as provided . They definitely do not spend any money to upgrade the furniture in their rooms. They still had 2 CRT televisions - duhhhhh. The furniture was old and slightly damaged. It was clean though and the staff was nice.

Hotel under construction - remodeling

Construction workers should not be mingling with the guests, guest room areas should not be accessible to/by construction workers or construction supplies deliveries or movement. Clean vs. dirty areas not kept separate. Breakfast was very good, could have changed sausage links to other meat product every other day. Coffee was made very, very weak, almost clear.

Under construction?

Although the staff were OK, this hotel was bad. The hallways and elevator were cluttered with furniture, carts and and garbage for each of the 2 days and nights we stayed. The TV's are still the old tube type!

Excellent large rooms!

I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and up to date the hotel is. Compared to other hotels the size I felt the rooms were very big and the layout was great too the staff were efficient, pleasant and had a great sense of humour. Overall great experience.

Hotel staff were great, I found the tons could be a bit cleaner, especially in the tub. The hotel needs a facelift in the rooms but for the price I'm not complaining, especially with free breakfast. Great for business or last minute plans, wouldn't go there for my holiday getaway though.

Great Stay

The room was very comfortable and clean with lots of space. We stayed for 4 nights when in town for a wedding. The screened window opened for outside air when the weather warmed!! A great plus! Heater worked well to quickly took off the chill on the cool evenings. The staff were very friendly. A nice hot breakfast was available each morning downstairs with lots from which to choose.

A breath of fresh air

This was a surprise. And a pleasant one I must say. This hotel was close to the things I wanted to do and places I wanted to go. I heard nothing but horror stories from the people I met during my stay while they were at places not too far from this location. This place I recommend highly and will return to.

Clean and cheap. Enough amenities to make a quick stop while driving through worth it. Fridge, microwave, clean bed and bath, hot and varied breakfast, quick and friendly check-in and check-out. What else do you need for an overnight? Thanks to trip advisor for another great recommendation.

Funny red marks

Very friendly staff, comforable spacious rooms and a nice breakfast room but ... some funny red marks on our skin noted at the end of our stay! Everything looked clean but the spots sure looked like bedbug bites. Experts say it could happen in any hotel. Beware.

Overnight stay

We got in late ,around midnight and we were well received by the staff. Everything very good. One note for improvement is the breakfast, eggs and sausage were overcooked and dry. The breakfast service was fast and courteous.

“The receptionist took me as an intruder who was trying to stay there for free even on demand she did not listen to my request and kept going without noticing what I was looking for. Tv in the room was from early 80s too fuzzy and the walls were not insulated enough.”
